The room had a bad smell, carpets were extremely stained, stairwells were full of bugs (dead and alive). I even found a bug in my dogs water dish in the morning. Gross… It felt very unsafe, people staying in their cars in the parking lot- all night. Some idiots stole everything out of our cooler, found it the next morning open on our trailer hitch.

The location and access was good. The employees were kind and helpful. Our room, on the first floor, lacked the black out curtains. Only had sheers. The bathroom fan was ridiculously loud. There was a spot for a reading chair but no chair. Sunday breakfast, they were running out of things. I did use the treadmill and bike in the gym. That room was fine.

Our room smelled like a musty ashtray. The main elevator does not work. The only ice machine that works is on the 2nd floor. The carpet in the hallways was filthy, especially going to the elevator that did work. The exercise room was closed for some reason. The staff were all very nice.

We observed several sketchy and transient type people around the hotel. The door on the side of the hotel was supposed to automatically lock but was found open several times. The hotel was fine for a one night stay during our travels to our final destination

The flooring/carpeting is filthy and worn. Hair on bathroom floors. Also bathroom floors sticky after cleaning. Breakfast menu limited. But daytime desk manager/receptionist (man) was welcoming, helpful, accommodating. Best part of the visit!

My new room was comfortable and clean, but literally every single piece of furniture was broken, stained, or had holes in it. The water smelled a bit sulfury too, but I doubt that had anything to do with the hotel itself. The bed was really comfortable and the location was super convenient to the amphitheater. It’s obviously an older hotel and it desperately needs a renovation, but it was fine for a quick 1 night stay.

The bed was very very comfortable! Needs bigger or more pillows! Sofa was in rough shape peeling! Dresser missing handle. Bathroom door had a patch where it looks like someone put their fist through it! Breakfast needs some help. Waffle tasted weird, not a whole lot to choose from.

Area is very crowded. Room was great. However, there was piles of garbage, linens, dirty laundry that was just left piled in the hallways till evenings which caused a “smell” in the hallway. The design of the curtains in room didn’t allow them to close to darken the room at night. A 4 foot opening allowed street lights to come through that lite the room up like it was daylight all through the night. Room was good, service was great, breakfast was good.

Upon arrival, at 4 pm (check-in was at 3 pm), we were told there were no clean rooms available and that we would need to “wait 10 minutes”. There was no call given to myself or other guests who arrived close to when we did, to make us aware of the issue. We did not get into a room until 4:45, making us rush for our event. Only one elevator was working, our door keys gave us issues, and breakfast was subpar, with raw eggs and a waffle iron that didn’t cook your waffle thoroughly, and our room was rush cleaned as the fridge still contained the previous guests food in the fridge and floors that were grimy and dirty.

Really disappointed in our stay. We sat in lobby for 10-15+ minutes waiting for someone to check us in. Thought maybe they had gone to help another guest. Little car speeds up and guy hops out with Chick-fil-A and checks us in. When we come down to the lobby a couple times I we the next 1-2 hours, he's over in the breakfast area eating and talking loudly on speaker phone. The next morning, the desk clerk was sitting on the curb with her coffee and vape. Dried food rings on the desk in our room. We didn't shower, because room just felt gross.

At night it was nearly impossible to find staff for assistance! Needed towels in our room but had to wait til morning to find someone to get them. Breakfast was 7-10am however, when we went down at 7:30 it was not set up and the lights were off. Came back at 8:15 and staff was setting up. We had to leave for the airport so timing was not on our side!

When we arrived, the guy working the front desk, Dee, was sitting on the couches and took his time to walk back to the counter to check us in, while on his phone. When checking in, he asked for the service fee of 6 dollars and when I pulled out my card he asked if I had cash because he had clicked cash. I said no. He asked if we could go run and get the cash and I said no since we had just driven 8 hours. He said he would pay for it. I brought the six dollars cash back later that evening after I went to the bank. When we walked into the room, the floors were dirty, as was the toilet and shower. There was old food crumbs and what appeared to be ground beef off of a pizza between the table and old, torn couch. The shower had brown and yellow stains in the bottom of it. The whole room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Meanwhile, the cleaning ladies were in the hallway chatting away. This was a common sight over the four days we stayed. They were supposed to refresh our towels and linens on the third day, as the pamphlet in the room said, however, that didn’t happen. The area reeked of marijuana and the smell would often come through the a/c. Overall, we will not be staying at this hotel again in the future.

She came to our table to see if we needed anything and explained in detail about the services. I think her name was Mary - the morning of October 9. She gets a score of 96. Staff at the front was unprofessional when we came in to check in. They were slouchy dressed sitting in the lobby area blaring their cell phone watching videos. Staff the next day was friendly and the worker handling the breakfast was on top of it though. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the room with a couch was very roomy. Convenient to the Ameris Amphitheater. We were there for a concert.

AC worked but room seemed damp; lamps were old and sofa upholstery (vinyl?) was cracked and flaking. Breakfast wasn't great on the first day, and for each day thereafter less and less was available because "the order hadn't come in"; by the last day there was just stale bread, packaged muffins, and those waffles you make yourself. Staff was nice enough! But I sensed scheduling issues and possible inter-staff Drama(tm). Parking lot seemed to have people hanging out smoking. In short, hotel needs updating.

What I didn’t like was being charged an additional 100.00 for incidentals at check in with no advanced notice from site I booked with. I understand the purpose for the charge but would like to have known prior to booking. (The 100.00 is to be refunded after check Out if no problems)

The Hotel was great, staff very friendly especially the evening clerk Dee. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. The breakfast was not that great. The eggs was watery, pancake batter smelled soured, not much of a selection to choose from.
