What guests think

At Courtyard by Marriott Lakeland, travellers praise the convenient location near restaurants and shops and frequently highlight friendly, efficient front-desk service, while feedback on rooms, cleanliness, and on-site amenities varies from comfortable and clean to dated with maintenance disruptions.

Rooms are often comfortable and reasonably quiet, but some are described as dated or musty, with recurring issues such as noisy or ineffective air-conditioning and occasional nonworking televisions. Cleanliness is generally solid, though several guests reported dirty windows or towels, pests, and worn hallway carpets. Ongoing renovations and maintenance (including carpet cleaning and elevator condition) caused inconvenience for some, and the on-site bistro and coffee feel limited, with breakfast not included and mixed quality reported. Expect convenience and comfort, but be prepared for uneven room condition and amenities.

Property was in middle of renovations. Workers were hammering at 8 a.m. Air conditioner not working properly. Hot water lukewarm in vanity. Hallway carpet filthy. Only 1 elevator and it was duct taped. Front desk staff barely visible nor asked how stay was when checking out. We were very disappointed in facility and it was not the standard we were expecting.

This was a 10/10 the parking was my only issue. For them to be under construction I think they’re doing an amazing job at keeping the property clean and very friendly. The parking just confused me tremendously other than that I’d stay again. Even the bistro was patient with the kids being they were so confused as to what to eat they were so patient and suggested items as well. The receptionist was so amazing I believe his name was Steve but don’t quote me!!!! Thanks for a great experience

There was nothing telling me that the property was under construction. The towels in my room looked like they had makeup on them. Staff was nice but I wouldn’t recommend this location for the cost. It was old and outdated.

My only issue was that even though they slipped a note under each room door warning of the carpets being cleaned, they didn’t mention at what time. We were trying to check out and there were hoses everywhere

Everything was good except the second night the room next to us was partying and very loud. I slept through it, but it kept my wife up all night. Also, we ate breakfast Saturday morning at the hotel the sandwiches had cold egg in the center and were not very good for the huge price we paid for them. Didn’t complain, but should have. Everyone there was very kind and the rooms are spacious and nice.
