What guests think

Across recent reviews, Courtyard by Marriott Cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral is often praised for friendly, accommodating staff, clean rooms, and a convenient location near the beach and Port Canaveral, along with family friendly pool areas and balconies.

Several guests noted ongoing renovations with occasional daytime noise and some less appealing views. Parking carries a fee, and breakfast is via the on site Starbucks style bistro, which some found pricey or understaffed. Direct beach access with lounger and umbrella rental was perfect. The onsite restaurant/deli was perfect: unpretentious with great food choices, and onsite Starbucks coffee. The room was spacious and nicely furnished.

Room was big and beds comfortable. The only drawback if there was one is that it was not right on the beach. We did not eat anything, but the bistro had a nice menu and we regretted not having breakfast there since all the restaurants around it had long lines. Another nice plus was the electric chargers for cars. That alone was worth the parking fee :)

My family and I got this property last minute for the Falcon Heavy launch, and it was perfect! The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was ready at check-in and check-out wasn't until 12pm, which is nice with four kids! We drove to Peacock Beach, which was about a 10 minute drive. The hotel's beach access is a little bit of a walk part the pool area, but it is more secluded from a lot of the traffic on Cocoa Beach. The pool was clean and roomy, too, so if the beach isn't your thing, the pool should be! Overall, a great place to stay on Cocoa Beach!

Good location for watching rocket launches from beach. Did not like that parking was not included when booking 3rd party Expedia. Was billed on credit card provided for incidentals $12 dollars per day $25.68 for 2 nights. Pay attention to details when booking. Good location for the area.

I know this is probably typical for a higher end hotel but paying for parking and holding money from my account since last week when everything has cleared otherwise, not cool. The outside hot tub jets weren’t always in working order, and there was a shortage of towels when needed. Also I expected to have the beach right there and there was a walk to get to it. But on a positive note loved the jacuzzi in the room and the king bed and pillows, fabulous. My children appreciated the fitness center. But on our next trip I’ll be checking out another place to stay, that includes breakfast and has no parking fee.

The room was exceptionally clean! The level of cleanliness was evident not just visually, but also the room and the entire hotel smelled clean. That may be due to a recent remodel. However it came to be, it was noticed and greatly appreciated. Often times rooms smell stuffy, mildewy, like a carton of cigarettes or a combination of those. What helps in these situations is a window that actually opens... this hotel excels in that area because it offers balconies with most rooms. The balcony itself was spectacular due to the size and the privacy it provided. Returning to the room, the decor was modern. The room included a decent sized television, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I must mention the thermostat control and programming. Most hotels have a system where the fan cannot be turned off. This one was quiet when running but had an auto off mode, like a normal home has. The benefit for me is that I don't wake up stuffy due to the unit blowing all night. There was a sofa that turned into a full sized bed, but not like the ones I normally see. It was cleverly designed with 3 sections of standard thickness mattresses! Although I didn't have a need to use it for sleeping, it seemed like it would be extremely comfortable for resting. It was certainly relaxing for sitting purposes. The bathroom had a nice shower enclosure with a hefty sliding glass door. It proved very spacious and welcoming. I loved the shaded parking area as well. It was the best hotel experience for us in years!

The room was clean however the AC was not cooling. The maintenance man came later and changed out the whole unit while we were in the room which was fine. We booked the Cruise shuttle then we decided to get a rental so I advised the front desk person that we go a rental so we no longer needed a shuttle. Luckily, I checked back the next night because we were still booked for the shuttle plus the 12 dollar a night parking spot. The manager on duty was advised and we had to come down and fix the problem. All was fix just an inconvenience.

The staff and beds were great. Don’t plan on getting any rest while you’re here. Also disappointing not even having coffee available in the morning without paying for it.

While the room and shower were on the smaller/older side, everything was clean and comfortable. Definitely some of the better accommodations in the neighborhood. Grounds were nice, parking was a little tough but safe lot, off the street. Air conditioner was ICE cold which is nice on a 99 degree day.
