Lovely older hotel. Fixtures are a bit out of date and well used. Our room had frosted windows so not well lit at all. Sink did not drain properly. $15 credit toward food in the bar could only be used for an evening meal which we couldn’t use due to wedding events. They did provide bottled water every day and the room was spacious and bed comfy.

We stayed in the one-bedroom king suite, and it was probably the best way to stay at Hotel Teatro. I get the critiques that the rooms are really small because our two-room suite (ie bedroom + living room) are essentially two repurposed rooms that they built a French door between - and I can't imagine staying it just one of those rooms. But that being said, it was lovely having two distinct spaces and TWO full bathrooms in our suite. We also weirdly had two doors (ie 400 for the living room and 401 for the bedroom) and the person who checked us in forgot to key us for both doors. The windows are original to the building (with new glass) and do let in a good amount of sound, so that's why I wouldn't give it five stars as it was a bit loud. But overall, lovely accommodations in a great location close to 16th St mall and the DCPA. Would recommend to people wanting to be near the action in downtown.

The hotel Is lovely, but could use some TLC here and there. Slowest service ever at the restaurant and did not have shuttles as advertised. Great location!

the room was not clean, and the hallway and room smelled horrible, the shower would not stay on and the toilet often did not flush properly and would not flush the toilet paper. when there was an opportunity to reclean the room for a deep clean they still missed the most important item. The staff was nice, but i did get some mis information about how to handle the situation.
