The bed was comfortable. Bathroom and room were ok. Elevator and vending machines were broken. Surrounding area gas stations and parking lots. Free breakfast. Be wary! It’s a bag breakfast or a coupon for a drive thru up the street and it’s not Starbucks!

We have no complaints except we didn’t realize there wasn’t a pool. It was close to the ocean and there were lots of food places near by. There’s only one way in and out, which are the front doors, so I felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast options.

Upon check-in, we were surprised to learn that the hotel lobby was closed for renovation, as this information was not readily apparent at the time that we made our reservation. However, there was excellent signage pointing to the temporary lobby on the 1st floor. In addition, the usual accompaniments to renovations (noise, dust, etc.) were not apparent. The staff was helpful, friendly, and have done a great job in accommodating the needs of guests from the temporary lobby, including providing good breakfast options. Pictures of the soon-to-be-complete renovated lobby show a first-class layout. Also, hotel's location is excellent as it is close to restaurant and beach area of Seaward Avenue in Pierpont section of Ventura. Highly recommend a stay here as it offers excellent value.

The hotel was under going a remodel of the lobby so it was a little difficult to find where to check in. The rooms were nice and clean. Loved having the In-n-Out next door! Parking was limited.

Overall the accommodations were good. The front lobby is under construction so we always had to enter through a side entrance and get buzzed in after 11p. But the staff was very warm and accomodating.

This property is under construction and there is no mention of this on Expedia. The check in desk is a guest room which is also where you get your "breakfast" which is a frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich, a packaged pastry, granola bar and a brown banana or a coupon to wienerschnitzel. The bathroom floor in my room was covered in both human hair and dog hair and there was dog kibble on the floor. There was no hot water in the sink and there was no shower curtain in the bathroom so the floor was like a pool when I got out of the shower. There were food crumbs on the floor in the living area so it obviously had not been vacuumed either. VERY disappointing, especially since the location is great.

Let me preface by saying the staff is excellent. The property is in a central location and close to attractions. However, the room is outdated. The Jacuzzi was duct tape together and had leaks. The couch had basically very little cushioning, and it felt like sitting on a bench. The fan was not working. I hope that they can renovate and address these issues soon.

Overall, the experience was good. I booked a room that could hold 5 people, one being on the sofa bed. I was HIGHLY disappointed in the sofa bed. It was stained to where nobody was willing to sleep on it and extremely old with springs and very uncomfortable when just placing your hand on it. Please get a new option for the fifth person.

Our room faced Harbor - a very busy street - so there was a lot of traffic noise most of the night. Next time, will request a room toward the back on the In N Out Burger side. Also, the wi-fi was off more than on. Otherwise, friendly helpful staff, convenient location, comfortable beds, and clean!

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is on a busy intersection and right next to the 101 freeway and there is a car wash across the street which is pretty noisy during operating hours the noise dies down after 10 o’clock their lobby is undergoing renovation and my room was directly above the lobby so at 8 o’clock in the morning it got a little noisy, but I had to go to work anyway so no big deal.

Stayed 1 night for business. Hotel is clean, but a bit dated. What makes up for that is their customer service. Very polite front desk staff. They called me later after checking in to see how my stay was going and if I needed anything. I travel often and haven't had anyone do that in a long time. Also felt safe. Good location. I will be staying here anytime I'm in Ventura.

The manager was horrible and screamed at me upon check in because I requested to see the room. She was horrible, she accused me of aggressively approaching her, however she provoked me to raise my voice to her level. She told me I could get the hell out if I was happy and she would refuse to refund my $435 for 2 nights. Ripped off by the most inhospitable person I’ve ever met. Book here at your own risk. You will regret it.

The property was maintained great. The staff was overly concerned about our comfort even though there were never any on our part. The TV didn't work when we arrived & within 5 minutes of calling the desk someone came & fixed it. The grounds keepers were polite & courteous, also. The breakfasts were tasty and the young women overseeing it went above and beyond to serve the guests. We chose this hotel for the location to the Harbor & it was a great decision!

My biggest issue was that there is a carwash directly across the street from the hotel that seemed to run all night, and was very noisy. Even when the car wash was quiet there was a lot of noise from people walking by outside. I think they just need better soundproofing in the walls! The main beds were ok, but the couch and chairs were old and saggy and the pullout couch was bad, even given the low expectations I would normally have for a hide a bed! We ended up putting the mattress on the floor (we have two teenagers who prefer not to share a bed!) and putting one of our camping mattresses on top of it. When we visited (April 2025) the front desk and breakfast area were under construction, and apparently had been for some time. They were giving out bagged breakfast with seriously bad pastries, or you could choose a $5 voucher for Weinerschnitzel. Hopefully the renovation will be completed soon, and this will no longer be such a disappointment. I will say that the staff were very friendly, and did there best in a tough situation.

The staff was amazing! I read the comments before about the breakfast coupons, that's not true anymore this place has a new breakfast dining section with great options for 3 star hotel (waffles, eggs, bacon etc.). Shout out to Cristal for taking care of everyone in the morning at breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean.

An enjoyable stay. The reception staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy. No view to speak of (Ground floor facing the In and Out Burger line). The breakfast arrangement with Weinersnitzel needs looking at. Not the best! Preferred the breakfast bag after the first day. This was the only downside to the visit.
