I chose this property on price alone bc we were getting in late and leaving early. If you don’t expect too much and willing to endure, it will do. It is overdue for a reno and is priced accordingly (I’ve stayed in rooms like this in Santa Cruz that charge triple). Everything is old and run down and cigarette smell lingers through the ac/heating unit. We had a hard time finding parking bc the lot was packed. For what they can control, there was the hair sitting on top of the bathtub drain that didn’t get cleaned. While in the shower, I had to reduce the shower pressure (which was really good!) in order for the water to not back up. The room overall was lacking internal light; like they need to add a lamp and increase wattage on the bulbs. And the key card sleeves are reused. The room number and wifi passcode written in pencil on the tyvek sleeve were faded and somewhat smeared. It’s right off the freeway which made it easy to zip out. Didn’t get a chance to notice the area around the property so can’t rate hotel on that. Would I stay here again (knowing what I know)? No, but for the price, it did the job.

Not worth the price. Damaged walls, broken facilities (curtains, toilet, tv.) No management on site (have to call management to request help.) Filthy light switches and doorknobs. Lumpy cheap pillows.

No dryers an theres a pool

Other than fact, my room was next to the swimming pool and summertime, it was more than OK.

From Check-in to Check-out, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was cleaner than the room I stayed at in a luxury hotel in Vegas. I travel here for work weekly and Im definitely going to keep booking this hotel. Lots of parking and its quiet.

No one at reception on arrival and so noisy throughout the night - guests returning from night out, loud cars, generators

Staff service is very good and they listen to your needs. However, property is very old and not well maintained. Especially the toilet commode, the water level is too high in the toilet and can cause discomfort

The swimming pool is dirty,the dryer vent is facing where the swimming pool is,the vent covers they open it so the dust from the dryer it’s coming where the swimming pools is,it’s nasty while you swimming ur in hale the dryer machine dust air,the room is clean, bathroom is small

Very outdated, corners had dust and dirt. Bathroom window didn’t lock. Carpet looked very dirty. It was too late to check out and find another hotel.

Light stayed on all night. Timer was not working. Finally had to unscrew bulb.

This property had dirty bed skirts. The linens should’ve been white but instead they were brown. A pillow that was once white was was yellowed. The floor was filthy. My socks were white and after walking on the floor they became black with dirt. I had to throw them away. I became concerned for hygiene and end up leaving after a few hours.

The rooms were filthy. The floors were so dirty that the minute you walked on them, your feet were black. The showers had mold on the walls and very outdated. There were constant noises that kept us up at night. Every time you flushed the toilet, there would be a really loud noise. Beds super loud any time you moved around and bedding was stained.

Shower did not drain, so inch or more of standing water when showered and shower head leaked significant amount of water, deadbolt on door did not work and would not lock, awkward room set up for anyone to sit. Had room safe in closet and someone left dirty personal item. Small tv and mounted on very far wall so basically not able to use. We actually left a day early.

The rooms were very, very dirty. If you walked on the floor barefoot you could feel Dirt on your feet. Water pressure was very poor in the shower. There wasn’t any soap or shampoo or conditioner available in the shower. The center nightstand between the beds was not clean you could see The marks from previous tenants where they put their drink on there. I started looking a little deeper and noticed dust everywhere and the alarm clock on the bedding, the baseboards, especially behind the beds. I even found mouse droppings. The photos they post up on their website are not accurate.

The carpet and couch was dirty other than that it was a I liked that there were two rooms for me and my family.

The refrigerator and bathroom are not really clean. Some sheet bed were stained.

The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious enough for my family, and it was cheap. When in the room i noticed they werent cleaned properly though, i had even found someone's old bandaid in the closet, that was pretty gross! Upon checking out I had left some items in the room and not everything was returned to me, i was just glad my keys were, kids food Tupperware wasnt. Overall it was an okay experience, i guess you just get agat you pay for!

Carpet and towels were stained

I was initially pleased with this hotel based on the location (convenient, safe) and the size of the room (basically a small 1 bd apartment). As we settled in, however, I realized that it wasn’t very clean (floors were greasy, counter was sticky, walls visibly dirty). There were a few inconveniences as well, like the complete lack of anything that would have made the full kitchen useful. Not a single piece of silverware, plates, or anything to cook with. I had hoped to use the kitchen for some meals, but we couldn’t have even heated water. The shower had an adjustable head, but it was broken and dribbled half of the water coming out. Finally, there was a really cute little deck looking over a wooded creek, but the space was full of trash (not sure the hotel could do anything about that) and the light on the deck was REALLY bright and stayed on all night. The switch didn’t work, and the door to the deck was glass, so the light shone directly into my bed all night. The curtains were also broken and didn’t stay closed either. After the first night, I asked at the front desk if they could turn the light off. They seemed concerned that the switch didn’t work and said they’d take care of it, but It was still on when we returned late that night. Also, we also weren’t allowed to leave our bags behind the desk after checkout so we wouldn’t have to take them to go eat. All of that said, it was cheap and had clean sheets and towels.

Huge rooms & great location but ... there is only a paperthin door between us and our nextdoor neighbors! We can clearly hear everything. Bruh.

The room smelled like weed, the bed was very uncomfortable and nobody was at the front desk. I would tell people to not stay here. We paid for two nights and only stayed one.

Not to happy with the stay beds were very uncomfortable asked for extra blanket said they had no extras lady in the front looked like she got out of bed to help us not happy with my stay price was ok if u like hard beds like sleeping on the ground 😳

It was ok.. if u cannot get into a hotel by pismo. My friends booked the 2 bedroom suite. It was big and spacious. Great for a family trip.

The hotel was clean. My biggest complaint is that the walls were paper thin. You can hear everything so it was really hard to sleep. I wanted to check in at 2:45, but no one was there and no one answered the phone. It’s a good value if you are low maintenance and a heavy sleeper.

The suites are very spacious and well-appointed. The value is also quite good.

Great location in SLO. There's the Cowgirl Cafe right across the street which has an excellent breakfast. Highway entrance super close as well. Kinda disappointed with the check in lady. Not super energetic or friendly. Unfortunate. Room was clean and comfortable. Small TV with limited channels ( no abc, CBS etc ). Good AC. Toilet is really really low but good water pressure. If you're just using the room to sleep, it's good. Quiet too.

It was just ok, spacious but out dated…

Good: Close proximity to freeway and restaurants. Bad: When you walk into the room you will be greeted with musty smell. No " Do not disturb sign" Receptionist is always MIA and you will need to call and wait to be assisted. Cooking station is not clean.

The front desk person very nasty. She doesn’t know what it’s customer service at all. Terrible 😣

The part of the hotel where we stayed was a former apartment building. I loved having so much room, a kitchen, and even a back yard! The floor was filthy - both sticky and black with grime. The man running the front desk was doing his best but it seemed he was running the front desk for the hotel across the street as well, so there was a wait to check in and out. Not a big deal though. He was nice.

The lady in thw front office was angry during check in, not welcoming at all, towels and beding had stains, the looked clean but here were stains and they smelled weird,

I came for a wedding and I asked to check in early. They let me check in early and even upgraded in my room. My room was brand new. It was beautiful. It looks like a damn Marriott. It was perfect for what I needed for the weekend and like I said it’s by my favorite deli shop

The manager thought I was someone else who caused problems the night before and gave me a hard time. They they asked for a $100 deposit in cash, not allowing me to use my credit card for the deposit.

My experience with the lady at the front desk was terrible. My first interaction with her I was talking to her on the phone asking if I could have an early check in. From the start, she had an attitude and it was hard to understand what she was saying. I show up to the hotel and she was immediately yelling and me while pointing her finger at me. Telling me I am rude and disrespectful, and that she was not going to respect me until I respect her. During this, I am not saying anything rude, I was asking her to stop yelling at me and that was her response. She very rudely asked for my ID and credit card and was very aggressive with every interaction. I was not pleased and will not return or recommend to anyone.

Staff were efficient and kind.

I went there for Memorial Day weekend. For someone without a car, it is conveniently located to downtown San Luis Obispo(about a 10-15 minute walk). The service was great and reasonable. Only downside of the property is that it is right by an on ramp to Highway 101. So, there is bound to be many cars when crossing the street. All in all, i enjoying my stay and i might return at somepoint in the future!!

Quiet. Near several restaurants

The property is tucked in a quaint spot off the street however, it still close to a few eating spots.

It’s an average motel. It’s ok. It’s not dirty. It was a little noisy because of the proximity to the 101. Not walking friendly and a little difficult to get out of the drive in a vehicle. Staff was courteous. Nothing to write home about but if you’re just looking for a place to stay, it’s fine.

It was great and clean convenient to the highway and 10 min to the beach

Microwave and blow dryer were not in working order and no breakfast not even continental. Hindi woman was very very rude!!!! She in desperate need of a course in customer service!!!
