Great inexpensive place to stay at if you have work meetings in the area etc. parking is in the back, I did see a few people hanging around the parking lot through the night but nothing got broken into so we are a-ok. You are getting what you pay for at 97 dollars a night and this really is all I needed for this work trip. If you are going to be out and about and only need a private room/shower/bed for the night this is a good deal. The staff was super cool too honestly. They were far from corporate bs front desk personnel and actually would have a normal conversation with you and crack jokes. Which I appreciate.

- The place is rundown and a bit outdated. I understand the place is going through some renovations, but that should be shared at the time of booking. - Keypads were recently replaced but the door looks like it went a round with Mike Tyson with chipped paint here and there. - Hallway carpet needs a thorough washing. - Elevator took forever and the floors in lobby and elevator were sticky. - Phone was not working, so if I needed anything I had to go back down to the front desk. Would have been helpful if the staff shared this when I checked in. I even tried calling from my room to the main line, but no answer. Staff could have been busy when I called, but it was just a bit inconvenient. - The time I stayed, there was no wifi. They had hot spots instead, which was spotty connection. Wasn't able to do much work in the hotel so I had to find a cafe with better connection. - Rooms was fine, no complaints. I'm not just a fan of the sink being outside of the bathroom and had little counter space. - There were homeless people hanging out in the back lot which was at time uncomfortable. - Overall, place was convenient. Staff was nice but could be more informative of things so I didn't have to go up and down each time I needed something. - Maybe won't stay here again, until it finishes renovations.

I usually enjoy staying at La Quinta, but this one was a bit of a let down. My room smelled of old cigarettes very intensely. I got there late at night after a whole day of driving and I had already hauled my luggage and was spending only a night, so I decided to say nothing and just go to sleep, because I was too exhausted to even think of moving to a new room. The room was in poor condition, scuffs all over the furniture, the bottom edge of the bathroom door was disintegrating and the carpet looked worn out. The breakfast next morning was very modest to put it in kind words.

The rooms were okay, however, the hallways smelled like dog urine and despite the hotel having a no smoking policy, it was not enforced. There was a strong smell of marijuana and when I brought up my concern it was not taken seriously. There are also homeless individuals hanging around the hotel doors and no security was present. These individuals were definitely on “something” and were harassing guests once they walked out the hotel doors.Once again, I tried to bring attention to this situation and was told that “management” would get back to me to address the issues that I had brought up.
