Large, Clean Rooms but Pool Area Needs Attention Our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Palm Desert had some significant pros and cons. The Good: The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. We appreciated having a dedicated working table, which was very convenient. The walk-in closet was also a great feature, providing plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes. It was very thoughtful to have an ice machine on every floor. The gym provided filtered water, which is a nice touch for guests. The Bad: Maintenance Issues: The hot tub (Jacuzzi) was not working during our entire stay. Additionally, the emergency shut-off switch panel for the pool equipment was broken and exposed, which looked unprofessional and unsafe. (Images 2, 8, 9) Safety Hazard in Bathroom: Water from the shower easily spills under the door onto the floor outside the shower area. This creates a large, slippery puddle and is a definite safety hazard. Overall, while the accommodations inside the room were excellent, the maintenance and safety issues in the pool and bathroom areas need to be addressed.

Room was clean and big enough for us. Pool was murky with lots of floaties, made me nervous and they were out of towels. Breakfast was great, lots of choices.
