This hotel has a small cafe on the street level with a variety of bread and beverages. It was convenient to use for my breakfast & lunch. Once you step out of the hotel, you can find many sushi, ramen noodle, and okonomiyaki pancake restaurants just a minute away. It was fun to explore them for lunch and dinner. The room was very clean and quiet.

Loved our stay! Obviously the closeness to Little Tokyo is a blast. Hotel staff was super helpful when we had questions or needed any adjustments for our room. Elevators and rooms are spacious. Pastry/matcha café in the lobby was great and the breakfast buffet had authentic japanese dishes (but skip the omelette!). This was our second stay and we will definitely stay again!

I've been coming to the Miyako since 2008 and it's never let me down. Wi-fi is good, rooms are clean, and the washrooms are great. The hotel has a great self-service, 24hr store for anything you need, and a nice Japanese bakery/cafe on the ground floor. The surrounding area is relatively safe for downtown Los Angeles, and its Little Tokyo, so there's plenty of shopping. It's not the same as before covid though, so I hope it recovers.

The little Tokyo is just nearby, many japanese food to eat. The room is super tidy and clean, there are many supplies, even they provide makeup remover wipe and toilet with auto washing. The staff are so nice and helpful! The laundry is good. A very nice stay!

First of all, value for money in a city centre is difficult to find these days. Miyako offered everything that we needed at a reasonable price. The area was superb; safe and close to all the downtown sights and some great craft breweries. Parking was valet only at $50 which is a bit steep but unavoidable.

Simple spot with decent service when you ask questions. Waking distance to Japanese stores and restaurants. There is NO self parking so if you have a vehicle bring ann extra $60 dollars for valet and tip and an additional $200 dollar deposit so again, make sure to bring extra cash.

Nice staff. Lots of good food to walk to in Little Tokyo. The bidet was nice. Very clean bathroom. Good value for the price. Don’t miss the karaoke bar on the 2nd floor. They wave the cover if you’re a guest.

The hotel is nice and clean. There’s a great cafe in the lobby with great pastries and matcha. The staff was very courteous and helpful. My main complaint is our bathroom smelled of mildew. Maybe they need to ventilate that space. Otherwise everything in the room was great. Nice and clean.

Very clean and quiet hotel, centrally located with lots of food choices in close proximity. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel in little Tokyo. This was my first time staying here, but definitely not my last!

We had a great experience here. The hotel is beautiful, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The beds were so comfortable and so were the pillows. I travel with my special pillow because of neck issues but I ended up using theirs.

Excellent location right in the middle of little Tokyo. Lots of shopping and good food very close. The staff was friendly. The room showed some signs of deferred maintenance (water damage making the wallpaper peel at the windowsill. It was an excellent value, and I would stay there again.

Shower height was shoulder level. So you cannot stand up to use the shower. And the shower curtain keeps hugging you. So you have to use 1 hand to hold it back while ducking and cleaning with your freehand.

We had a wonderful one night stay so that we could go to Dodger Stadium for a Giants vs Dodgers game. The location was great! Uber worked well to get us there and back. Francis at the front desk was so friendly and helpful!!

Great property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right in the heart of Little Tokyo and surrounded by great restaurants. Close proximity to Union Station. The only parking available is Valet Parking which is $50 per night. My only other critique is a safety matter I brought to the attention of the front desk. I love to listen to the sounds of big cities when I visit one and to my surprise, when I opened the window in my room, it opened very far out, enough room for a person to fit through. It was of great concern to me regards families with young children as there was a sofa in the premium room in close proximity to the window. The handle was extremely easy to manipulate to the open position, simple enough for a child to open and we were in Room 1104 on the 11th floor. I have been to numerous hotels in Las Vegas and I've yet to come across one there that doesn't have a safety mechanism preventing the window being opened beyond a certain point that would allow a person to fit through. Just an observation. I would hate to see a tragedy unfold.

We stayed one night to see the Hollywood and beach. LA metro station is 3 minutes walking distance and we used the all day travel with mix and matching of shared drive and metro. My wife and kids enjoyed the stay.

I have stayed here a half dozen times or more and never knew they had a breakfast buffet. At check in they never say anything about it! There are no signs in the lobby about it! There is nothing mentioned about it in the in-room guide (accessible by QR code)! They don't even have Hotels.com list it on their property amenities list! So I have been struggling dealing with the small bakery or the groceery store next door. No it's not free but I don't understand why they don't even mention it at check in. The elevator doesn't have a sign or ad for it, it's just listed in small print on the floor guide for floor 2. When I asked the front desk about it, they gave me a slip of paper with it mentioned, but they have never given me this paper in all my stays here! How is this even possible? Room is pretty good, location is OK for bus/metro and walkable to Union Station. However, I have 3 upcoming reservations for here which I just canceled. I'll probably come back at some point but time to explore some other properties - that have breakfast and let you know!

This clean, friendly hotel has the best breakfast place in the area… but it doesn’t open until 7. No coffee (aside from room coffee with powdered creamer) until then. Two blocks to Starbucks. Within walking distance of all of Little Japan and accessible from Union Station via the A line. Very clean room and bathroom with a Japanese style toilet/bidet.

My favorite place to stay each year for Camp Flog Gnaw at the Dodger Stadium. Staff are friendly, the place is clean, and I love the smell of the place when you walk in. Convenient location, great dining options around, love the little hotel store, and the bakery inside is a huge plus. Great place to stay when catching an event at the Dodger Stadium or just visiting LA in general
