The lobby was being repaired so we needed to enter through a side door into a tiny little area that had a tiny desk for check-in. I can't really give a fair evaluation since I only saw my room and this tiny area to check in.

The staff was wonderful and really the reason for any stars at all. There was active construction inside the building which we were not informed of, we could hear jack-hammering from our room during the day. Was really disappointing for us since we had just gotten off a long flight and were desperate for a nap. On our last night there was a leak from the room next door and it flooded our rooms entryway floor. Luckily the staff was able to relocate us to a new room but the inconvenience was not super great especially our last night in LA. When we left in the morning we could see towels laid out in the hall to sop up the water that had pooled around our old room door. Was a very unsavory sight as the water looked quite murky. The rooms are clean but dated, but the beds are quite comfortable. The valet staff was the highlight of our stay, they had excellent and warm friendly service.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a loft room which was super cute. The room layout was cool. Everything was nice and clean. We missed housekeeping a couple of times because we forgot to push the housekeeping button on by the door but the staff was very accommodating and brought us fresh towels. Great location - 10 minute walk to Westfield Mall that has a ton of food/shopping options and pretty much 20 minute drive to get anywhere. Overall a nice hotel and would definitely stay here again.
