Parking was horrendous! I have an F150 and barely fit!

Staff did an exceptional job with keeping the property and rooms clean during our stay. One of the cleanest we have stayed at for a while. Parking was awesome as very secure and safe and easy to manage getting into and out of the parking garage (have a nice system in place for parking which can be very difficult to find in LA.

Very comfortable Rm. 222, clean and comfortable. Regular size room with two queen beds. Has a fridge but no freezer, has microwave. Area was very busy Saturday night and loud cars passing by street. Parking was very difficult to find when checking in, but paid $12 to park in the hotel’s parking garage and that was much better. Breakfast is eggs with cheese, round sausage, waffle maker, cereals, oatmeal, bagel, muffins, orange and apple juice, coffee, tea. Overall, we would stay again but the original parking experience was very stressful.

Although the hotel seemed old and in need of some updating, our room was very roomy and comfortable. The wifi cut in and out and was never consistent. The breakfast was good in my opinion. It had everything we needed to start the day. The staff were very friendly. There were points in the day that the front desk was closed for 5-25 minutes, at one point I had to call the hotel itself to get someone to the front desk! Be aware that every morning you will need to go to the front desk to reset your room keys. Parking was $12 us/day but it was gated, underground parking so I didn’t mind. Overall if you want a cheap hotel that is a 5 minute drive to Dodger Stadium this one did the job for us.

Very well kept property for price. Pretty good breakfast as well with underground parking garage also at a reasonable price. Hard beds is only major complaint.

Parking was pretty inexpensive and car was nicely secure below ground. Location was very close to a show venue. Enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel.

We stayed for 1 night and the property ( lobby entrance, lobby, parking, hallways, and the room) were clean. The parking is secure and gated there is a nightly fee of 12$ but you can go in and out as many times. The parking is a little tight if you’re in a bigger car. Breakfast is good and well stocked through the breakfast hours

AC unit right outside window. Room was clean but carpets were absolutely disgusting, sticky and gross. Did not walk around barefooted. Key to room had to be reprogrammed more than several times on a 2 night stay. Was frustrated having to go back downstairs several time to reprogram it. Hotel overall appeared clean and safe. Breakfast was decent and location great for restaurants. Parking was safe.

Upon check in i noticed stains on the curtains. Flipped over the blanket to check the beds, as i always do, and immediately saw hair and a stain on the sheet. Took off blanket cover and both blankets had holes all down the seams of both blankets. The pillow case and pillow had a burn hole. There was no fitted sheet, they just laid a flat sheet over the mattress. The bathroom had hair all over the floor. I called the front desk, he tried showing me another room but that room was the same, DISGUSTING!After 3 days of dealing with the rude front desk agents and never got to speak to a manager, and hotels.com the hotel had refused to refund my money. Me and my kids left the hotel that night and did not stay and they will not refund,

I’ve already emailed the comfort inn business email about my stay was very grossed out it was very dirty when we checked in there was pubic hairs everywhere. we tried calling the front desk and no one answered we did request for refund I hope to hear back shortly from them thank you

Shower and bathroom had black mold and strange smell. Property was in a busy area, and the key cards often deactivated. Beds were average. It’s an old building and has obvious deterioration. Paper thin walls, can hear everyone’s conversations in the rooms surrounding. House keepers like to slam stuff around super early in the mornings, so everyone who checks out by noon, is wide awake by 7am and cleared out for the housekeepers since they bonk into the doors and your walls til you’re up and can’t go back asleep. We get it. Get out. LOL

The room was clean & comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Although there were a couple of negatives. The air-con system was noisy. The free breakfast provided while adequate, was almost impossible to sit down & enjoy as there were only 3 tables & never was there one available for us. For the amount of guests the hotel can have at The one morning I managed to get a table, after making the waffles & getting breakfast I was told to leave as it was now time to clean up the area. Needless to say I was left feeling very frustrated about the situation.

The property was clean and well maintained. The parking, although an additional $12 a night, was secure and very easy to access. The location was perfect for visiting our family in Elysian Heights. The price was reasonable. That being said, the walls and windows were thin, the passing traffic and restaurant and it's patrons in the parking lot were loud, and the guests above us and in the hallway were stomping around all hours of the night. We would not have gotten any sleep if not for having a white noise machine on full blast. One queen mattress was uncomfortable, but the other was horrendous. Think, free curbside college dorm room Ikea futon. Luckily, our 6 year old was small enough to curl up in the chair. And the only way I can describe the pillows is akin to balling up socks and shoving them in a tiny feed sack. We used folded towels instead. I've never encountered the like in any stay, anywhere. Breakfast was identical the three mornings of our stay. Powdered eggs, sausage, waffles, bagles and cream cheese, coffee and tea, and some assorted cereals and oatmeal. Basic, but a step up from continental. Our son loved the waffles. We would stay here again for the price, parking and cleanliness. But, be warned, bring your own pillow and a sound machine!

We liked our stay. The room was clean but small. The two queen beds were nice but hard. Room was clean along with the bathroom. Breakfast was good with a lit of options and hot food was scrambled eggs and sausage. I think the eggs were powdered though. The only problem at breakfast was the lack of seating. There are only three tables to sit the whole hotel. This is ridiculous. Very close to universal studio's rheme park which is why we got it. We would stay at again for sure.

A one sentence summary for this hotel is: it gets the job done. You won't have a bad time in this hotel if you need to be in the area. It's kind of between downtown and Hollywood, so youll need to bus, drive or Uber to most places you want to go, and its not near the subway, but the bus does make it accessible enough if that's your situation. The hotel itself is clean, and the staff ard pleasant. There's a pretty nice pizza restaurant in the building which is a highlight, and the included breakfast in the lobby is a step above continental with a waffle machine and eggs/sausage patties with the usual suspects. It's not great, but not bad. But it also bizarrely ends at 9:30am which is potentially a bit inconvenient if you wake up past 9. The bed is a bit too firm for me, but not bad. The shower pressure is not great, but not bad. You get the picture? Although theres not much to do in the area, the restaurants in this part of town are actually pretty great. If you like to walk you'll have a good time walking NW discovering some great places for a bite. A great point is the powerful, quiet AC, this is a good place for a heat wave - it worked like a dream even in 34°C (93°F) heat, so dont crank that thing to low or you'll wake up freezing. A downside is that you'll have to reactivate your room key every morning. Considering that the front desk person has other duties and can't be there all the time, that caused a few inconveniences on my end. So there it is: it's fine.

A good location walking distance to Echo Park and surrounding cool shops and stores. We didn't like that we had to re-validate our room key every 24 hours and often it still didn't work and we'd be locked out. The soundproofing of the rooms is really bad and we'd get woken up often just hearing people in other rooms above and next to us walking around etc.

Personal is not at the desk, they are somewhere else and you need to call.

Front desk service was outstanding! Super helpful, polite, and professional. The room was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Safe parking, easy check out, and fantastic breakfast provide from 6:30-9:30am. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We arrived at 3pm local time to check in and there were two groups ahead of us. No big deal, that’s what check in time is like. 25 minutes later it was finally our turn! And then… no rooms were available? “Give us 10 minutes” — okay, 20 minutes later no rooms still. The front desk employees unfairly blamed the housekeeping staff. When we finally got a room, the free parking I asked for and they agreed upon didn’t end up happening and they charged us. Then we got to our room which was left open. Just overall the worst single experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Staff very seldom in front desk

Staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Very clean and well kept hotel.

The gentleman behind the counter when we arrived at 1 pm was very helpful as was the groundsman and the lady who prepared the breakfast. This was one of the best service we have received.

For LA the price was good and it was clean. That being said, I would never stay here again. You have to get your key re-programmed every day. That would be fine except that 3 out of 5 days, it didn’t work. There is secure parking around the side, but we had to continually turn around and go back to the front because our key wouldn’t work AFTER it was re-programmed. The beds are HORRIBLY hard. People set off the alarm in the stairwell on 2 of the nights in the middle of the night right next to our room. PUT A SIGN THAT THE ALARM WILL SOUND IF YOU USE THAT DOOR! The front office had no idea that the alarm was blaring when I called them 10 minutes after.

Need better breakfast options. Otherwise we would recommend & absolutely go back for future stays. Antonio at the front desk was professional & very accommodating. His customer service was exceptional! Thank you!

I recently came here with my boys on a Friday night. We saw a show at the Echoplex which was walking distance (about half a mile) from this hotel. Check in was fast, but the parking lot was packed and tricky to park in. We did appreciate that checkout was at noon. The room was comfortable and had a smaller fridge for the kids. We will definitely come back.

We liked the central location for visiting Universal Studios, Chavez Raven, and the Los Angeles Zoo. The room was clean, breakfast included, and the staff was very helpful. There's an underground, gated parking garage where your car will be safe. Although, the parking garage daily fee is additional and not advertised up front (At least not on the 3rd party booking App I used).

We walked to Dodger Stadium. We ran across very nice restaurants and then homeless. Just a strange area.

Good choice. Clean property with completely enclosed garage. The hotel is right on Sunset so transportation is convenient and good dining options available but also Sunset people hanging around. Fortunately the hotel is secure and completely safe. I recommend.

Convenient location to Dodger Stadium.

The room was huge, had a fridge, microwave, and ironing board. The bed was comfy. The lobby and free breakfast was great but the halls and rooms desperately need a remodel. The hotel is safe and has taken precautions (gated underground parking, secure front desk) but you should only go there if you have to. It's located in a sketchy area. There is no pleasant view (graffiti, homelessness, people just drink on the street, bars on windows of businesses and many closed/boarded up).

The only difference is to have better options for vegetarians and those that don't eat eggs. If there was more options for non-meat eaters and non-egg it would be much better

The hotel is perfectly fine and exactly as expected for a Comfort Inn. Breakfast was OK, though as usual, the continental breakfast includes very little non-sweet choices. I was somewhat irritated by the check-in, where I was required to present passport plus national ID and credit card, then wait for approx. 10 minutes while the employee was, apparently, typing all my details into the computer. Then I also had to sign some papers. In other hotels, I just present my passport and credit card, and get my room key immediately.
