Once renovations have finished, this will probably be a nice hotel. However, the un-announced noise from the ongoing renovation work was so unbearable that we couldn’t use the pool area. We asked the hotel staff why they hadn’t mentioned the renovation on their website nor on their own reservation system. They answered that this was on purpose!!! They claimed that they had informed Expedia about it, but this wasn’t highlighted to us when we booked. They didn’t offer any type of compensation, and actually acted as if they didn’t care. I spend around 100 nights per year in hotels around the world, and this is one of the worst treatments I have experienced in a long time. All in all, I recommend finding another hotel.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. What I don’t like is that there’s nothing to do in walking distance. The second thing that caught me by surprise is we as a guest had to pay $45 a day to park the rental we had. As quests they should be free

It is a nice property. I like that it is an indoor/outdoor courtyard property that you get to enjoy fresh air. The only thing that was inconvenient are the stairs. I was in room 524 and I had to take flight of stairs. The staff was very nice to assist me with my luggage to my room, it would've been very difficult without them. Parking is $55 overnight both for valet and self park. I did valet and they were very helpful.

Very clean and comfortable. This hotel is small but high class. We were only there for 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the Christmas decorations and tree in the lobby. Hotel staff very friendly.

The hotel was much older than we anticipated. It seemed clean. But something wasn't quite right. We had a reservation for two nights but opted to only stay one. The room had an off odor that was not pleasant and did not improve when we got into the room and turned the air conditioning on. The server at the bar was very nice and the apple pie was delicious.

Clump of long black hair on top of shower drain. Disgusting because I stepped in it. Shower had hot water for about 2 minutes, then turned freezing cold. Front desk sent maintenance who said handle is “tricky”. Noooooooo handle has nothing to do with lack of hot water. Front desk staff rude and arrogant. Stayed here years ago and it was great, definitely has gone downhill. Ice machine broken. Rooms outdated.

The rooms are very small and you need to climb stairs to access the rooms a lot of stairs at 78 not good no elevator service you should note on your website.One night I was awaken every hour with a generator going off I had to change rooms.

This is a nice hotel in a very nice part of the city. It is quite noisy being on a major road and the two beds in the suite are most definitely not Queen size. It was clean and had a very upscale and upgraded look to the rooms and lobby.

Front desk was rather cold and impersonal. The attendant who checked me in barely even looked at me. First impressions count. When I asked if there was water in the room, she replied, \'No" but you can go just across the hall and pick up a water bottle on your own". Her communication skills stink.

I decided to have a birthday staycation at this hotel, and I was left underwhelmed by the service and comfort. The valet was rude and inattentive. One valet asked if I was delivery instead of a guest. The most disappointing part of the stay was the bed. I have never experienced such an uncomfortable bed at a hotel. Given the price of a nightly stay, this hotel is grossly overpriced. When I was checking out, I requested a manager to reach out to me via email or phone, and to date, no one has taken the time to do so. I welcome the opportunity to speak with someone and will amend this review if the interaction meets my satisfaction.

Very disappointing to say that I can’t recommend this hotel because they failed to provide basic services.. my husband booked this hotel to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. We checked ino. Friday evening.. the property itself is beautiful and the valet and front desk were very welcoming.. Saturday room cleaning was requested as far as the trash take out and restocking fresh towels .. we were gone for five hours and cleaning service did not show up … we called the front desk and inquired what happened and one of the staff came to inquired and said he would take care of it… no one came or followed up .. we left for dinner and came back still no service.. my husband called again then someone came and left again and brought up a few towels… no refreshment on toilet paper.. must say was very disappointed to not receive the basic services that was expected.

Our check in was super easy and the girl at the front desk made sure we knew EVERYTHING we would have needed! We chose to do valet with our vehicle & it was outstanding by day 2 they knew what we were driving and would see us come down and go get the car! It was outstanding! Nice clean rooms, friendly service & close to a lot of sight seeing!

The staff upon check in was so kind, welcoming, and efficient! Valet always has a smile and were so quick to bring our car around when we were leaving. Also, the classical disney music in the lobby was a nice touch! Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely come back!

⭐️ 1-Star Review I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I trusted that my Porsche would be safe and handled professionally. Instead, the valet damaged my car, and the hotel refuses to take any responsibility. What makes this even worse is how uncooperative the staff were throughout the entire process. Instead of helping or even showing empathy, they simply told me “it must have happened in the past” — even though the scratch was clearly fresh, obviously not caused by me, and noticed immediately. Their explanation was not only dismissive but also completely unrealistic. No solution, no accountability, not even a gesture of goodwill. They didn’t offer to cover the damage, didn’t offer to take a closer look, didn’t provide any footage, and didn’t even offer something as simple as a free night or a reduced charge to make up for the situation. Absolutely nothing. Just a cold “all the best,” as if that magically erases the damage or the terrible customer service. For a hotel in this area, I expected professionalism and integrity — instead I left frustrated, disappointed, and with a scratched car. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I LOVED this hotel. The design is beautiful! We were by the coy pond so could hear the waterfall when our door was open. That was definitely a bonus! We also walked to Rodeo Dr for breakfast through a beautiful neighborhood. We will definitely stay again!

The hotel is a hidden gem, close to Westwood, UCLA, Century City and Beverly Hills. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the property looks almost new. The pool and beautiful flowers were a really nice surprise and we will definitely stay here again!

Beautifully aesthetic. Spacious. Happy staff. Walked from the hotel to Rooftop for lunch, and the to Rodeo Drive for shopping - in total, the was about 23 minutes. Very convenient.

Hotel was just lovely and had everything needed. Westfields Century City is just a 20 minute walk. Be prepared to take plenty of Ubers as there aren’t any other restaurants near by other than at Westfields. But the quality of staff and facilities at the hotel more than made up for it. I’d definitely go back if I head to LA again.

The hotel is definitely more of a glamorized motel. It’s aesthetically pretty outwardly, but older. The rooms are small. The walls are paper thin (you can hear EVERYTHING), and there are few amenities (no robes, slippers, subpar shampoo, etc.). There were two very friendly staff, the valet and the manager walking around. Other than that, no one really acknowledged the guests. Parking is $45/night. I guess to be expected in the area. It is in a great location. Close to Rodeo and everything off Wilshire Blvd. We would stay elsewhere, though.

Beautiful setting. Lovely gardens, pool. Staff were very upscale, friendly, helpful. Restaurant food and service very good. This is not a 3 star. It is more like a 4 or 4 1/2 star. Like the free wifi. Annoying to be charged wifi at 4 or 5 star hotels when it is free most places.

The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room service food was excellent. The gym was closed for water damage repairs so I was disappointed. The AC units in the room are quite noisy inside the walls with a repetitive clicking noise so I had to turn it off and have no AC. It was very humid. The bed was small and the linen reflected body heat. I believe a plastic bed wetting sheet was underneath incorporated into the mattress. The room had a desk and stand up kitchenette bar. The room was clean. The shower was high pressure which is a rarity in California. I was so tired I slept well enough apart from urban noises of loud exhaust from street racers, cop chases, a yelling transient, and a fire alarm in the adjacent apartment complex. I am glad i had a set of earplugs. Parking was an extra $45 a night, 90 total which was a bit steep considering in and out valet for my stay cost me an extra combined 5x8=40 bucks. The hotel itself was lovely in appearance and clean. I do hope they clean up the neighborhood of transients/drug addicts and street racing. If they do I will be back.
