Stayed 3 nights

The hotel was 2.5-3/5 stars all around. They charge a 45$ self-park nightly fee while you're at the hotel, which was not included in our original payment and was only told to us when we arrived. Additionally, the staff was extremely loud (yelling to each other across hallways) right outside our room every morning (6 am), which subsequently woke us up every morning we stayed there. There was also a $ 300 deposit required, which was also a surprise charge. Between the surprise parking fee, not even being able to sleep in, in our own hotel room, and the expensive deposit requirement, we won't be coming back.

Stayed 2 nights

This was our second stay in a 2 week period as I was in the Bay Area for a medical appointment. First stay was great and I gave a 4 star rating. This time I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights both balcony rooms. We were placed in building #4, our rooms on different floors next to the elevators. First issue was we couldn’t get the balcony door to open even after unlocking both locks, since it was late I didn’t want to bother maintenance and the view was just the rooftop of another building. I had a 6 am surgery appointment so we went to bed around 9 and that’s when we notice the loud buzzing noise that kept repeating itself every few minutes. At 10 I called for maintenance who arrived quickly only for him to tell me it was the elevator and nothing could be done about it. I think it was around 1 am when it finally stopped waking me up. Got up early as a shower was required before my procedure only to find I could turn the water on but I couldn’t adjust the temperature and it was scalding hot! Checked with my daughter in her room to tell her we were checking out and not spending another night and she told me she had to have maintenance come check out the ice machine next to her room as it was continuously beeping, they unplugged it. Checked out at 5:30am and thought the receptionist confirmed why we were checking out a day early. Now I’m having issues with a charge that I’m refusing to pay. So sad, enjoyed my first stay but building 4 definitely needs some work.

Choose a king room, as the mattresses are softer. Also definitely skip paying for breakfast in advance unless you like a basic breakfast and waiting a long time for it. I do prefer staying here over other hotels, however.

Stayed 1 night

I was there 5 hours from plane delays. My room looked into parking lot. There was no chair or desk. Just what I needed a bed and shower. The room was clean and comfortable. It was close enough to 5:00am when their pool opened so I did have a swim, shower and nap before being back on freeway. They also handed me a warm chocolate chip cookie when checking in. I would both recommend it and return. There are rooms facing the water or gardens. I had asked for a view but didn’t specify….. too long. Staff was efficient and kind.
