We have stayed in this house before. I call it a piece of desert paradise. The house is clean and has a beautiful desert surrounding. It is close to the city, but seems like you are in the middle of the desert. The host is wonderful and very accommodating. Parking is great. The pool is fabulous! The only reason it got 10 stars is because I can’t give it an 11.

We had the opportunity to stay at this property for a week in June. It was perfect! The mornings and evenings were spent looking out the windows or sitting on the patio enjoying the wildlife that surrounded us. We had the opportunity to not only enjoy the many birds at the bird feeders and watering pans, we were able to view coyote cubs, deer, rabbits, and hawks. The area was serene and comfortable. The location provided easy highway access, which made it a perfect home base for our stay. We hope to be back soon!

This was a very well maintained and clean property. Carella takes pride in her home and wildlife. My family enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets on the patio. We even got a glimpse of some new desert wildlife we never saw before. The home was fully equipped with supplies making it easy to cook if desired. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel at home this is the one! We will definitely be making this a return spot when we come to Tucson again. Thank you so much for the hospitality and experience we will never forget!

Our stay was perfect. We love the high desert and the wildlife was fun. Lots of birds, rabbits, even deer, which was a surprise. Very nice hosts. And, most importantly, the guest house is beautiful with outstanding southwest decor.

This property ticked all the boxes for us and we won’t hesitate to come back. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would expect to find in a home including blenders and a rice cooker. Lots of spices and oils, fridge stocked with condiments, even pantry goods. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very comfortable. Plenty of additional towels and bedding in the closets. A room stocked with books and games. The outdoor space was great for enjoying the afternoon/evening out of the direct sun and the birds always put on a great show. It was very quiet, yet only 5 minutes from the highway, shopping centers, and a large park. A quick 20 minutes gets you to UofA and surrounding area. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs.
