Petri Suites

What guests think

At Petri Suites, guests consistently praise the friendly staff, clean stylish rooms, and a relaxing pool area near the beach, while some note limited breakfast variety, a somewhat isolated setting, and occasional maintenance or service hiccups during busier periods.

Guests describe a calm, boutique setting with restaurants and transport accessible, though the area can feel bare and walking is hindered by limited sidewalks. Roaming cats are common and charm some visitors but may annoy others. Overall, expect a peaceful boutique base rather than a lively resort.

Nicely decorated hotel with a lovely, quiet pool area. Short walk to mini market and beach, both very handy. Tasty pastries at breakfast although an option for proper coffee would be good. Room was very large and had plenty of space, fridge could have been colder. Some of the decor is looking a bit shabby and could do with an upgrade. The a/c seems to emit a bit of a sewage smell when you first enter the room (although you get used to it quickly). Staff generally very nice and friendly, the guy at the bar was quite often MIA when we wanted a drink though. Overall, a comfortable stay for the price and ideal if you want a peaceful place to stay near the beach in Santorini. Try Sea Side for dinner and also Lava Tavern for something more authentic.

A lovely stay! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. 5 mins walk to the beach and a lovely pool. The breakfast could have had more variety and the pool did get full even though we were there off peak season so in summer it may be hard to get a sunbed. Really reasonably priced stay for a lovely boutique hotel

Refused to accept card payments. Told us to go and get cash from Machine. Totally unacceptable for any serious venue. Loud house music all day long regardless of who was by the pool. Occasionally relented and played some more gentle tunes. Avoid room 30 - we paid extra for sea view room but there is no window to see the view. You have to have the door open - then you risk the cats entering your room. There are cats everywhere. Most guest seemed infatuated with the kittens - so the cats have no fear and won't be shooed away so beware if you are not a cat fan!!!
