Super convenient walkable location to downtown. The downstairs area had a great game area for socializing attached to the bar as well. Nice way to beat the heat. Rooms were comfortable though the doors are very heavy.

Beds sleep well, rooms are clean, shower did have some hair in the shower that was not ours. Other than that no complaints. Parking lot is small, so we had to park in the garage it’s about 20bucks to park there fyi y’all. Just another fee we were not expecting.

Floors in hotel room were sticky and the room had an odd smell. It smelled like cleaning chemicals mixed with dirty water that they used to clean. Disappointed in the size of the room as pictures were deceiving. Great location though and friendly staff except for the cafe. Note that cash is not accepted at coffee shop or snack stand. Does not have an actual restaurant on site.

I emailed a complain to the manager Victoria, and didn’t get any response from her yet that’s the reason I am writing this note to you. In my bed, I found long black hair, even though I am all blonde with gray hair. In the sink, I found Dirty leftover of green toothpaste and short black hair. This is additional complaint. I’m sharing with you which I think was not hospitable. At the front desk, people been very short did not even try to explain us where we can get the food on the premises. When we decided to buy a bottle of wine from the little shop, receptionist hand us a bottle of wine, and did not even offer glass. That was quite shocking that we had to drink wine straight out of bottle. We had two bedrooms, three people. We all worked in hospitality industry, and this was simply embarrassing to us. Sorry about this review, but since the manager never got back to us to knowledge the situation I had to tell somebody.

We made three attempts to go to our room. Each room was filthy. Beds unmade, dirty towels, trash and clothes left in rooms. Supervisor went to get us a room, and it does not appear one is clean for us to stay in. We have been offered $20 off for breakfast as compensation as we still sit and wait for a room.

Typical modern Aloft. Our corner room had a great view. Towels/bath mat was an issue day one and was not corrected until I requested it be fixed a second time. Disappointing: only 2 drawers and no real closet: instead it was a rack with some hangers that was out in the open. No door on the shower/sink area means that whoever wants to sleep a little later is out of luck if the first person is showering/using a blow dryer. Location, however, was perfect...right on the river walk, 1 block to the Cotton Exchange & 2 blocks to Front street and all of the restaurants/bars. The rooftop bar was a great place to start each evening.

This is a nice option if you choose to be on the river front. We had a great view of the battleship. We were in a handicapped room which unfortunately meant the shower flooded the entire bathroom and down the hallway. There were nice options for snacks and drinks. Another weird thing was the wasted space in the room. Upon entering the room, we walked a good bit until we reached the bathroom and sleeping area.

The best shower ever - hot and amazing water pressure! I love the layout of the rooms at ALoft - it just makes sense. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious enough for two people. Can’t say enough good things!

It was a long, confusing trek to our room. They’ve sacrificed comfort for style with only one trash can, no microwave, crummy coffee maker, no electrical outlets beside the bed, dirty area rugs, no bath mat, ugly wallpaper. Worst of all the shower curtain, w/o a liner, clings to your whole body when you shower!! Miserable!!

Our check-in was flawless. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The rooms and property were immaculate. The vibe is modern yet casual. Location was amazing. Staff was friendly, lobby is spaciousness with plenty of seating. Check in was great. They gave us an extra parking pass for the day for my friends son who was visiting with us for the day which I thought was awesome. It’s walkable to everything downtown. The beds are super comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. I would def stay again.

Stayed here for a girls weekend. The room was comfortable and location was perfect. We didn't use any hotel amenities except for the rooftop bar, which was convenient and had a nice selection of drinks. Parking was limited, but we were able to find a spot even though we arrived late.

Enjoyable stay. Visited the convention center right next door and was very convenient to walk to and from. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee bar and breakfast sandwiches were fantastic. Was not super impressed with the rooftop bar, but drinks and food were good.

The staff were wonderful - especially Raymond and Joshua The all-in-one washer and dryer needs to be replaced with separate washer and dryer units. Our clothes did not dry although we just had a small amount of clothing for each machine. Need to offer room service

I would like if some.rooms were used for no pets due to the linger of pet odor and pet allergies. But overall it was a nice and clean place. But 25 a day for self.parking was a little much but next time I'll do alternative to that. Otherwise it was a great hotel and it was as shown in the photos. Staff was so polite throughout stay. But some rooms designated for non pets would be a great idea especially for us allergy suffers

Absolutely gorgeous modern hotel in a beautiful location. Room was very unique but we loved it. Great view, great roof top bar with amazingly kind employees. Beds were comfy, bathroom was super neat and had great water pressure and was very clean. Can tell this place is well taken care of. Breakfast is not Included but there is a spot on the main floor where you can purchase coffee and pastries. The river walk is right out back and very pretty. Parking was a bit pricey for $25 but we used the college covered parking for $10 which is literally across the street, steps away. The ONLY complaint I would have is there is a smoking spot right outside the front door of the hotel by valet so it can be very overwhelming when walking in or out. This should be moved to another location. Price for our stay was also incredible. Would definitely come back.
