Thunder Hill Retreat - Spacious/Deck/Hot tub

What a wonderful weekend! We were in town with two other families to watch our boys play lacrosse in a tournament. Instead of staying in a boring hotel we had this beautiful retreat in the woods after a long day of games. Parents sat by the fire and relaxed while the boys played pickleball, kayaked, yard games, etc. Our only regret is that it took us 5 years of traveling for sports to figure this out!! Thanks for a great weekend--we hope to be back next summer.

We had a great time! Everything was just as advertised. The place was clean, comfortable and perfect. The host was responsive and I would definitely enjoy coming back. I highly recommend this place.

Smooth check in and communication with host. This house is absolutely gorgeous and very clean! Secluded and peaceful! Plenty of cookware and utensils. Plenty of seating in each area of the house inside and out. Plenty of beds! The bed are so comfortable I slept like a baby and didn’t want to wake up on day of check out. Games inside and out pickle ball court w balls/ paddles, corn hole boards and bean bags. Very nice children’s play set w slide and swings Books board games etc. Has nice gas grill and plenty of seating on top deck. Down stairs has washer/ dryer. Also downstairs has another family room with sectional and table w chairs. with additional bedroom and bathroom down stairs lead to sliding glass doors with huge hot tub that was so nice in a peaceful setting. There is also a table outdoors on lower level with plenty of seating and a hanging chair swing. The firepit has string lights, seating, and a grill over fire pit to cook. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. The host also had firewood they provide for during your stay. This place was amazing and so peaceful. We went down to creek 2 days in a row. The trail is extremely steep and you may wanna be somewhat physically fit to go down and then back up. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. I had the best time just relaxing at this beautiful home.

The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. Check in was easy and not much work was required for checking out. The hot tub was amazing and the woodsy setting was great. Would definitely book there again.
