Lakeview Inn

What guests think

At Lakeview Inn, guests highlight a convenient lakeside location across from Clear Lake and generally quiet stays, while also noting the older, budget property shows wear with inconsistent cleanliness and maintenance and a mixed surrounding area.

Rooms are simple, some refreshed, with mini-fridges and microwaves; several note tight or dim showers, occasional TV or Wi-Fi issues, and some traffic or A/C noise, while a few enjoy lake views and comfortable beds. Service is often friendly and accommodating, though there are reports of check-in mix-ups, stricter pet policies, and uneven professionalism. Cleanliness feedback ranges from very clean rooms to dirty floors, worn towels, and isolated reports of mold or hair in bathrooms. Expect a no-frills, lakeside budget stay with variable condition and service.

Pleasant stay. Nice and big TV with cable set up, mini fridge, and quick and easy check-in. Great AC. Only hiccup was first being assigned a room that wasn't clean. We were promptly reassigned to a different room that was clean. Thanks!

Old motel. Kind of run down. The laundry “facilities” are 1 old washing machine and dryer that the hotel also uses to wash hotel laundry.

The property was what I expected, for the price. I wanted a walkable place to a friends in the area. It was quiet and I slept well. That's what I wanted a place to crash with a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly and responsive.

The property is run down. I had thread bare thrift store sheets on the bed. I found more than I liked, long back hair between the sheets when I turned the bed down. I found mold and hair in the shower. The floor tiles weren't mortared down. The cleaners used noxious smelling cleaning supplies that didn't every dissipate with time. The WIFI wasn't consistent. Pictures look better than real life. Just be prepared. I couldn't get a refund or I would have moved after the first night. It was quiet and the shower water was hot.

You get what you pay for. And I expected a little more for the price. The shower was a 3’x3’ space with no light. That was kind of weird. It was still hot water and a mattress. Better than a tent. Really, no complaints here. Just giving whoever reads this review a heads up. We got a laugh out of it.

Must say I rate this place and my stay 10/10, this place exceeded my expectations. My family spent memorial weekend and this place was great, very very clean, nice and quiet and the staff was amazing and sweet. The convinces of being able to walk across the street to the lake and fish with access to many different parts of the lake, was a definite plus. I will definitely be staying here again.
