Beautiful and quiet place to relax. Close enough to shopping, restaurants, etc.. We were looking for a place to relax and destress. The place is perfect and a better host than Ms Bobbie couldn't be found. Already planning a trip back. Everything was clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking around and just taking it all in.

Located 60 miles north of NOLA across the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway nestled on 40 acres of old growth forest you’ll find a luxurious cottage and its owner, Ms. Bobbie, who is the most gracious host I’ve ever met. The beauty and peacefulness cannot be understated and the interior was roomy, comfortable, and immaculate. On a scale from 1-10, I enthusiastically give the cottage and Ms. Bobbie a 10! Thank you for the lifelong memories.

Lovely home with all the little extras needed to feel right at home. The owner, Ms. Bobbie, was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Very comfortable beds. The kids really enjoyed fishing in the small pond. We didn’t venture down to the river, but hopefully we can do that next time!

The place was amazing. It was quiet and a great spot to just enjoy your friends. We had coffee on the front porch and drank wine on the back porch in the evening. We cooked a great dinner and just relaxed and reminisced. Could not ask for a better spot. Bobby left us a king cake along with cheese and crackers to snack on when we got there. The beds were comfortable and the place was extremely clean and had everything we needed and then some!! I would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING is the best way to describe this property and the host (Mrs. Bobbie)! She made the home so warm and welcoming, and even provided delicious snacks. Also, the home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The property itself is gorgeous with a pond and access to the Tchefuncte river. My husband and I had such a relaxing time fishing in the pond and the river and just exploring the property. We did catch a few bass and brim, and we did see several deer including a baby!When we weren't exploring the property, we drove into the nearby downtown area of Covington which had great restaurants and shopping. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in this area!

Cottage was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. Ms. Bobbie is a very gracious hostess, very welcoming and hospitable. She made us feel right at home. Property is very private and feels secluded, yet minutes away from Covington.

We just wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. This was the perfect place. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Ms Bobbie made sure we had everything we needed. We fished in the pond and hiked down to the river. Ms Bobbie made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend.

Had a great time. The property is beautiful, and sits on sits on a wooded, private lot with a huge front porch just made for early morning coffee. On top of all that, the host was even better. After greeting us when we first arrived, we felt as if we had been friends for a long time. Thanks Bobbie for make our first trip to New Orleans so memorable. We will definitely be back.

Bobbie was amazing and her property was top notch. One of if not the nicest vacation rentals I have ever stayed at. House was extremely clean, furniture was nice, clean, quality, and appealing. Beds were super comfortable, sheets, towels, and linens were super clean and soft. Felt more like a home than a vacation rental and we will certainly stay here again the next time we visit family in the area. A+ 10/10 highly recommend.

This property was exactly what we were looking for and our host, Bobbie was so sweet and accommodating. She even had a few refreshments there waiting for us upon arrival which was much appreciated. The house was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life even for just a few days. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved every minute of our stay! Our host was wonderful and made sure to have everything we needed. We traveled 9 hours for our niece’s wedding and never once had to worry with our home away from home! I loved the spacious layout and the acreage for our kids to explore! It was superb! Highly recommend! Just beautiful!

Everything was top notch. House was extremely clean & filled with all the necessities plus more. The hostess was phenomenal. She was welcoming, joyful & full of loving care for her guests & her property. Our eyes took in the beautiful views of nature. Our ears were treated to the songs of the birds. We slept very well. Enjoyed pond fishing. Far enough out for privacy yet close enough for city activities. Highly recommend.

Booked the home for my grandmother’s 90th birthday. There was enough room for everyone to relax indoors and out. Everyone that came to the party absolutely loved the house. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Sleeps 6 people incredibly comfortable. If you are looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle this is the place. All your worries seem to melt away. Ms. Bobbie is a wonderful host.

Traveling from Chicago to Covington LA for a wedding by car, we were a few hours late for check in and Ms. Bobbi, our host knew we were 2 young senior ladies traveling, contacted us to make sure us girls were alright. She also asked what type of cheese did we like. Upon our arrival, this petite little lady with the kindest smile greeted us with a firm loving hug! That's when I realized we were home away from home! Her cottage was comfortably decorated, spacious and a very well stocked kitchen which included a tray of chocolate, crackers and pepperjack cheese! The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were so very comfortable. The entire cottage was immaculate clean. We were completely private and surrounded by beautiful trees and wilderness, Bobbi told me if I wanted to take a walk in my pajamas no one would ever see us! We woke up every morning with the singing of birds and got some extraordinary pictures of red cardnals and blue Jay's! We are planning our next trip to bring our hubby's so they can fish and meet Ms Bobbi! You won't be disappointed, I 100 percent guarantee it!! We love you Bobbi!!

From the moment I booked the stay, Ms. Bobbie was the most thoughtful and responsive host. I am from the area and have family living there still but wanted a place where all my adult children and grandchildren could come to after celebrating the life of my grandmother. Ms. Bobbie made sure we are taken care of, even when the storm came through and we lost power, she was in constant communication. We will visit again when I travel back to Folsom to visit family. It is nice to have our own space.

She was incredibly accommodating and offered all the comforts (including a delightful continental breakfast) one could dream of! The property is impeccably clean and situated in a tranquil setting. Bobbie and her piece of heaven were amazing. We stayed for two days after a cruise before heading home and it was perfect spot to unwind. Bobbie was an amazing host and took great care of us during our stay. We plan to come back soon.

We loved every minute of our stay! Our host was wonderful and made sure to have everything we needed. We traveled 9 hours for our niece’s wedding and never once had to worry with our home away from home! I loved the spacious layout and the acreage for our kids to explore! It was superb! Highly recommend! Just beautiful!

AMAZING is the best way to describe this property and the host (Mrs. Bobbie)! She made the home so warm and welcoming, and even provided delicious snacks. Also, the home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The property itself is gorgeous with a pond and access to the Tchefuncte river. My husband and I had such a relaxing time fishing in the pond and the river and just exploring the property. We did catch a few bass and brim, and we did see several deer including a baby!When we weren't exploring the property, we drove into the nearby downtown area of Covington which had great restaurants and shopping. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in this area!

The cottage is SO quiet! We loved sitting on the front porch and we were in awe of the ancient trees around us! The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. Bobbie stopped in to say hi and she had provided very thoughtful treats! We would certainly stay there again on a future visit to Covington!

The place was amazing. It was quiet and a great spot to just enjoy your friends. We had coffee on the front porch and drank wine on the back porch in the evening. We cooked a great dinner and just relaxed and reminisced. Could not ask for a better spot. Bobby left us a king cake along with cheese and crackers to snack on when we got there. The beds were comfortable and the place was extremely clean and had everything we needed and then some!! I would definitely stay here again!

This property was exactly what we were looking for and our host, Bobbie was so sweet and accommodating. She even had a few refreshments there waiting for us upon arrival which was much appreciated. The house was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life even for just a few days. I would highly recommend this property.

Traveling from Chicago to Covington LA for a wedding by car, we were a few hours late for check in and Ms. Bobbi, our host knew we were 2 young senior ladies traveling, contacted us to make sure us girls were alright. She also asked what type of cheese did we like. Upon our arrival, this petite little lady with the kindest smile greeted us with a firm loving hug! That's when I realized we were home away from home! Her cottage was comfortably decorated, spacious and a very well stocked kitchen which included a tray of chocolate, crackers and pepperjack cheese! The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were so very comfortable. The entire cottage was immaculate clean. We were completely private and surrounded by beautiful trees and wilderness, Bobbi told me if I wanted to take a walk in my pajamas no one would ever see us! We woke up every morning with the singing of birds and got some extraordinary pictures of red cardnals and blue Jay's! We are planning our next trip to bring our hubby's so they can fish and meet Ms Bobbi! You won't be disappointed, I 100 percent guarantee it!! We love you Bobbi!!
