Reviews of Campus Cottage highlight cozy touches and responsive hosts, creating a reliable, home-like base for campus visits, family gatherings, or local events in Marion, Indiana, for small groups and repeat visitors.
Guests consistently praise the spotless interiors, comfortable beds, and updated, nicely decorated rooms. Many mention a quiet street and dead-end setting, plus convenient, walkable access to IWU, shops, and dining. Minor notes include a small bathroom, one instance of outside noise, limited kitchen basics for some, and one check-in communication hiccup. Expect a convenient, family-friendly stay suited to IWU trips.

The cottage has enough room for 3-4 people. We invited family over and enjoyed the ample space outdoors visiting on this quiet street. Close to food and shopping but we took advantage of the “fair” amenities. We’ve stayed at this cottage many time and will continue to look to book again soon.

Absolutely love this home! Perfect location for a weekend visit to IWU! Property manager is excellent! Home has everything you need - even some family games 😊. I don’t remember the last time I played “Sorry” with my kids - how fun to play now that they are in college. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a very nice stay, to visit IWU. Cottage is nice and close to campus, with a nice big back yard. Very comfortable sleeping as well. Glad we found a nice place near the school. Will definitely be booking again!

This home was clean and a great spot for an IWU visit. The only negative thing I would mention was that the bathroom was pretty small for multiple people to get ready. However, they did have mirrors in the bedrooms to help with that. We would definitely choose it again!

My sisters and I stayed here as we were attending a family reunion in Matter Park. The house was clean and welcoming and was exactly as represented. It was simple to find everything we wanted to find and we were grateful that it was available. I look forward to staying here again whenever we need to return for family events.

While in Marion celebrating a 90th birthday, our family of four (parents & 2 adult kids) had a wonderful stay at the Campus Cottage. The location was ideal, very close to IWU and less than a mile from my mom’s condo. The cottage was super clean, updated, and decorated perfectly. Everything you need is provided, and check in was a breeze. Owner Carrie Jo even called to let us know a service person was coming to water some new landscaping so we weren’t surprised. We’d be happy to stay at the cottage again! Thanks for a great visit.

Walking distance to university. Never received check in instructions so panicked and contacted host which was resolved. It would be helpful to send out entry instructions the day if instead of guest scrambling while already there not able to enter the already paid reservation. We had food in car waiting around. But unit is as advertised and suited our needs. Needs wine glasses and Keurig added.
