Casa Jose Maria Hotel

What guests think

At Casa Jose Maria Hotel, reviewers highlight the convenient walkable location near the cathedral and the generally friendly, helpful staff, describing a simple, well-kept property that offers a quiet atmosphere for many guests and good value for money.

Rooms are basic, sometimes small, with very compact bathrooms and limited ventilation; Wi-Fi can be weak and some air conditioners underperform, and a few guests noted street or courtyard noise. Cleanliness is generally praised, but recurring comments note rough or worn linens and occasional bathroom humidity or mold. Parking is close by and convenient though open air and not always perceived as secure, while breakfast is liked for taste with occasional remarks about limited options or small portions and no dinner service at night. Best for travelers prioritizing location and price over full amenities.
