River Front Colonial Beach Private Beach & Dock

This property is beautiful and rare seeing how not many people have waterfront properties around the area. The house is exactly as pictured, spacious and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the dock and new bench. The town of Colonial Beach is just such a vibe, if you’re looking for a smaller beach experience. The people were friendly, the go carts are so unique and the town has such cute little touches everywhere. Lots of jellyfish in the water this time of year so we didn’t swim. Fishing wasn’t great either although we did manage to catch a stingray! Shopping was nice and we went to a few cute shops. Some of the businesses and restaurants hold odd hours so check ahead if you have something specific in mind. Overall, excellent experience and we would love to go back sometime. If you’re considering this property, go for it. You will not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic experience. The owner was amazing, super helpful, and very accommodating. And the property is gorgeous, and has just the right mix of space and comfort. We would recommend this property 100 times over!

Other than the rain we had a great time in Colonial Beach. This stone house was beautiful, well stocked and right on the beach. Finally got to see the fantastic sun rise on the last day due to the rain the first three days. Had to wear sunglasses in the house. Using the golf cart is the way to get around town. Son & grandchildren braved out one afternoon for fishing & crabbing on the pier right outside the front door. We would love to stay there again in July.

Great place right on the water. Don’t even need to go outside to experience awesome sunrises. But if you do there’s a huge new dock. House is bright and cheery—great kitchen and lounging area. Plenty of space for several people!! Host made stay pleasant with check in quick and smooth!!

The online pics do not do this property justice! The sunrise will be one you will never forget. When inside the home you feel like you are on a houseboat. It feels like you are on the water, only a few feet from the back door your feet will be in the sand/water. Very convenient, within walking distance, to food and shops. I would highly suggest booking this property. Host was responsive and I felt confident if there had been an issue it would have been addressed in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back.
