What guests think

Reviews of GLō Best Western Enid OK Downtown - Convention Center Hotel praise friendly, helpful staff and very clean, modern spaces, with many highlighting large bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a central location near the Stride Bank Center and downtown restaurants.

Multiple reviews note thin walls and hallway noise, plus sliding barn-style bathroom doors that offer little privacy. Facilities feedback is mixed: parking feels safe and plentiful, but the indoor pool is sometimes cold, out of order, or overly chlorinated, and hours begin late for morning swimmers. Breakfast ranges from excellent to basic, with occasional shortages or early closure; in-room coffee divides opinion. Expect a modern stay with standout service, tempered by occasional noise and amenity quirks.

The bed was very comfortable in the room was impeccably clean. The only thing I didn’t like was hearing the people on the other side of the wall. We were very disappointed that the heater in the pool did not work and we were looking forward to a swim. The breakfast both mornings was very good. There is an amazing Italian restaurant just one block away, Which makes for wonderful convenience for dinner. While in town, try 7 brew coffee

Everyone was kind and helpful. I loved the pool. The pool was a little cold, hard for some of the family members to get in, but other than that, the property and staff were great. Thank you. Darrin

The property was nice. Staff super nice. I utilized the gym, it was clean with newer equipment. The room appeared neat and clean, bathrooms are huge, however, there was some dirt, dust and food crumbs under the desk. I didn't get to have the breakfast, so can't commit on that. I would return to this property.

They turned off water without letting customers know. After working out and not being able to take a shower, they said they put up a sign by the elevator. Unacceptable form of communication when some people take the stairs and don't use elevator.

This is a nice hotel within walking distance of the ballpark and convention center. Parking is pretty easy. The hotel seems to have been renovated fairly recently. The room was on the fourth floor and it was spacious and comfortable. Probably the biggest bathroom at a “regular” hotel room I’ve ever seen. The king bed was comfortable and the linens fresh. The shower had little pressure and not quite hot enough, but it was serviceable. The wait to check in was quite lengthy because, apparently, a large group showed up right before we got there. The staff worked as quickly as they could with only two people checking in. They charge been understaffed in housekeeping as well because our room was not ready until around 6 pm or so. Went to get breakfast on one morning and it was taken up at 0905 even though the sign said 0930. Overall a pleasant stay, but could’ve been a little better. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The hotel and rooms look just like the photos. The bathroom went the length of the entire room with the shower on one end, two sinks in the middle and the toilet at the other end. Behind one sliding barn door was the microwave on a stand and a short rod. Behind the other barn door was a small closet. The fridge was under the desk. The TV was a little hard to figure out. The bed was not comfortable. I liked the chair in the corner which had a little table attached to one arm. It was comfortable. It was hard to find plug-ins. I expected this hotel to be a little more soundproof than it was. It was an okay stay but I wouldn’t stay again if I had to pay full price.

Very comfortable room: large bathroom with double sinks, big walk in shower and plenty of counter space. The room itself was spacious: plenty of space to chill out, relax, or work if you needed to. TV reception was glitchy but that was most likely a service provider issue, not the hotel. Not a big issue for me, but might be for others if it happens routinely. In-room coffee was pretty awful (WHY do hotels use the worst coffee ever in their guest rooms? To make sure we definitely check out on time?) The complimentary breakfast was OK (decent coffee! Variety of packaged pastries, cereals, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, the obligatory pancake machine, and hot selection of biscuits (tasty), gravy, sausage, and scrambled eggs (don't go for the eggs. Just don't). Also a yogurt dispenser with assorted mix-ins (a large assortment, which was really great). And fresh fruit. So: plenty of choices for a quick bite, but if you want a great, hearty breakfast: go elsewhere . Customer service and cleanliness was exceptional. I'd definitely stay here again. But I'll bring my own coffee pods for the room.

Why if I’m a gold member do I need to pay a security deposit? Have I not built my trustworthiness? I leave rooms in excellent condition. The hotel is great, check in was weird. At first, we were given our room key. When we arrived to the room, someone was already occupying that room. We were then given another room. When we arrived at that room, we opened the door and the bed was unmade and the TV was on. I am assuming the person was in the restroom. Finally, we were given a clean unoccupied room. Not a fun experience.

We had stayed here a few years ago and had a terrible time. My spouse tried to checkin while I was working - they insisted on charging his card and it took me weeks to get them to drop the duplicate charge (I had pre-paid). Different management now - sent me pre-checkin link. Spouse was able to checkin - no hassle. I thought I left something in the room and they checked for me. Excellent service!
