At The George - Luxury Boutique Inn, guests praise a beautifully restored historic property with modern touches, consistently spotless spaces, standout homemade breakfasts, warm and attentive staff, and a quiet, walkable location near downtown Napa’s restaurants and tasting rooms.
Rooms are comfortable and often spacious, with thoughtful touches like heated bathroom floors, occasional fireplaces, welcome treats, easy self check-in, and convenient on-site parking. A few guests noted light noise from footsteps or thin walls in this historic house, plus minor quirks such as light leakage or softer mattresses and limited outlets. Expect an upscale, character-rich base for a relaxed Napa stay.

Beautiful b&b with wonderful staff and a yummy breakfast. Parking was easy. Downtown Napa is a 5 minute walk away. I do wish the room had more easily accessible plugs, but that is very minor. Would absolutely stay here again. Note that it is essentially an old house, so you can hear people talking through the walls and the whole house makes noise when people are walking around. If you are a light sleeper you might find it bothersome.

This property was very close to downtown Napa which was walking distance. It offered parking slots and advanced easy checkin text with easy to follow instructions. This is a grand historic home that has been wonderfully renovated to keep the integrity of the history. The rooms were very large and the bath area was like new. They provided complimentary coffee and breakfast which was terrific. Their staff were some of the nicest people you will meet--I highly reocmmend

A colleague of mine and I visited the George this weekend to see a comedy show. It’s beautiful and clean with lots of wonderful common space inside and out. The breakfast was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Heated bathroom floors!!! It’s a very quiet neighborhood with ample free parking, but only a five minute walk to town.

They did a phenomenal job creating a modern hotel while maintaining the old-house character. The bed was so comfortable. My room was in the stairwell but I never heard another person. Clean, comfortable and they make a mean cup of coffee. So glad I stayed here - the George will be my destination whenever I’m in Napa!

We booked this hotel for an extended weekend in Napa (Blue Note Jazz Festival). The George Hotel is a wonderful BnB, the property is beautiful- inside and outside. It's located in a safe & wonderfully convenient area, just a few minutes walk to downtown. The property is immaculate, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Each morning there a selection of hearty breakfast offerings- breakfast casserole, bagels and lox, bacon, eggs, yogurt parfaits, etc., all beautifully presented in the shared diningroom. Do yourself a favor and book The George Hotel for your visit to Napa.

My wife and I loved this place! It's well kept and very clean! It's walking distance to downtown Napa and in a very quiet area. The only complaint we has was we wish the mattress in our room was a little firmer. It could be replaced to be totally honest. The breakfast every morning was incredible. The staff was very friendly and check in/out was basically effortless. This property is definitely one of a kind and worth every penny. Whenever we come back to Napa, we'll definitely be staying here if it's available.

We had an excellent stay at The George. The inn is a beautiful historic Victorian mansion that has been immaculately restored. The staff was incredibly hospitable and gave excellent recommendations during our stay in Napa. Ideally located, The George is just a short stroll to downtown. Also, the homemade breakfast prepared every day was some of the best food we had during our trip. We will be back!

Personally, I prefer a firmer bed. The one we had was like laying on a cloud. Hardly a complaint, just a preference. Everything else was excellent, from being welcomed on arrival, to thanked on departure. Didn’t realize it up front but the hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from the stores and restaurants of downtown and its river walk. Will definitely return next time we’re in Napa.

Such a perfect spot to stay. Walking distance for so many tasting rooms and restaurants. The breakfast each morning was phenomenal, could not have been more impressed and happy with the choice stay at the George. Thank you again to all of the staff who made our stay perfect.

Everything here is brand new, and designed to perfection. The breakfast was outstanding. My room was gorgeous. It is walkable to downtown. The only thing that I could say is, we could hear people walking above us.

We stayed here for our 19th anniversary and had a wonderful stay! We stayed in room 204. The room is cozy and well updated. The house itself is stunning! From the exterior to the interior, everything has been tastefully decorated and updated. The breakfast buffet served was great. Lots of variety from egg dishes, breakfast meats and fresh fruit to bagels and pastries. The staff was so helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend The George if you're looking for a quiet couple's getaway for your trip to Napa! -The Haddads

Our fist stay here was wonderful! Great staff, spacious beautiful room, and lovely breakfast. Only negative was being on the first floor and hearing the room above us constantly walking back and forth in the room and being loud…
