Great place to stay. The Forget Me Not Chalet was wonderful. It was the perfect room to help us feel a little secluded for our anniversary trip. Coffee shop was delicious, but it was closed on Sunday morning. Good to keep in mind. Distance from Seward port area was just a short 10ish minutes away. We didn’t use the stove but was very happy to know it was an option.

This is a newer property and was reasonably clean, though not spotless. Some of the basic amenities and upkeep could be improved; for example, there were no paper towels in the room. The location is convenient for access to Exit Glacier, though it is a bit removed from downtown Seward. Overall, we had a pleasant and uneventful stay.

PROS: Close to Seward for restaurants, tours, and nightlife. Comfortable bed New CONS: The room was not clean. There was dirt on the floor when we arrived, but no broom to sweep it up. No mat was outside the door and so you continue to bring more dirt in! The housekeeping staff replace towels, but do no cleaning while you’re there. The staff were the least helpful or friendly I’ve ever experienced all over the world. They acted annoyed if you asked for help. The walls and floors were so thin that we could hear neighbor noises constantly. The rooms were okay because it’s new, but it’s going to go downhill quickly. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Large comfortable, clean room with large refrigerator. Location close to town and park. Host recommended the restaurant directly across the street, The Salmon Bake. Best food we had so far!
