Hosts are awesome!Kitchen made it easy to cook. Bathroom was nice, shower worked really well. Needed more lighting by the dining table; the overhead lights on the ceiling fan felt too bluish and bright for us. Not a big deal. Needs another bedside table and access to a plug for charging phone in the master bedroom. Couch was very comfortable. Location was perfect for walking to the arts district. It had rained about a foot the week before, so the mosquitoes made it almost impossible to get out and walk around. Humidity and heat in June also was a factor. I’ve never seen so many mosquitoes in all my life, and I’ve lived in Texas most of it. Luckily the house is well insulated and kept us nice and cozy indoors. Air conditioning works really well!

Check-in was seamless, instructions for check-out were clear and concise. The only small issue were the dishes in the kitchen weren’t very clean, but the rest of the house was great. Access to a water-hose and grill were excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

We love this little cottage. This was our second year staying at the Rose cottage. So close to whatever we needed to do. Very comfortable and quiet. Could use a few mixing bowls & new frying pans if you cook like I do. Definitely a great place to relax. Also fenced yard & dog friendly.Thank you Rick & Tiffany for being available if there was a problem. Thank you Tommy for quickly responding to any questions.
