Cozy Seaside Condo w/ Ocean Views - Pets Allowed!

We stayed 4 nights at this property. The location was great, communication was average, and the kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities. Unfortunately, the property itself appeared poorly maintained and did not match the expectations set by the listing.Upon arrival, the unit was unlocked and several furnishings felt damp. The lock shown in the listing was not the lock on the door, making access more difficult than expected. Several listed or expected amenities were missing, including the patio dining set shown in photos, a dish drying tray, or any welcome snacks/bottled water.The property showed numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues: cracked ice bucket filled with a solid block of ice, bathroom exhaust fan that was filthy and disconnected, rusty toilet paper holder, stained towels and bath mat, screws left in wall where artwork had been removed, and a sliding door track packed with dirt and dead bugs. The patio furniture that was present was dirty and scattered about.The mattress was well past its useful life, with significant dips that left us waking up with sore backs. There were also signs of deferred maintenance in the kitchen, including a rotted baseboard and a cabinet pulling away from the wall, although the owner indicated these items had been repaired.Overall, while the location was great, it did not appear that the owners invest much effort in maintaining, updating, or regularly inspecting the property to the standard typically expected for a VRBO.

Easy check in and check out. The location was ideal and beach access was great. Overall clean and comfortable for short stay.

First and foremost communication with the host was amazing, She was the best! We very much enjoyed our last minute stay beachside. This particular unit is nice because the dunes block all the people at the beach so all you can see is rolling waves and sunrises. Makes very peaceful views. The unit itself could use a little updating but that is to be expected. For the price point and location you can’t go wrong. This is a very laid back community so don’t go there looking for a wild time :) we will def be back

The Good- location, view, pet friendly! The Bad- the room was listed as dated and it was, that is fine. The room is POORLY maintained- kitchen cabinets falling of the wall, look at the photo you can see the over 1" gap, if there was no bulkhead holding it up it would fall down, The next cabinet supports the microwave is also tilting- not safe! The base trim in the kitchen is missing, chipboard base is cracking and exposed. Bath tub we were told had been fixed, not true, a repair of caulk and paint does not fix an unsupport tub floor, sink fixture rusted leaving rust on the sink each time you turn it on and off. There is more to say but I will never stay in this "dated" room.

Great place to stay owner was amazing.
