On a positive note, the view is stunning. On a less positive note, the rooms are way smaller than advertised (7 by 3.5m is 24.5 SQM max vs advertised at 30 SQM for a suite junior). Not sure how they can get away with that. Room decorations are really basic but much better than the corridor (purple !) The hotel is currently under renovation but the sound proofing has not been considered. You can hear the TV of the neighbors, the doors being slammed etc. I clearly don't recommend it.

Mikanos was an extremely friendly and engaging host. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is perfect i.e. about 2 minutes from the small town, not too quiet not too busy....goldilocks. One of a couple of places in the world we've been to that we'd return to

Excellent small and peaceful boutique hotel in a stunning location with beautiful views over the sea and a short walk to the beach in one direction and to the village in the other direction. Many shops and restaurants in easy reach of the hotel, whether at the beach or in the village. Supermarket opposite the hotel for essentials. Easy parking opposite the hotel. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast. Our room was wonderful, a family suite perfect for our family of four. Comfortable beds, balcony with stunning view, fridge, safe, excellent a/c and other essentials. Can't vouch for the other rooms but paying extra for the sea view is certainly worth it.
