We had a great week exploring all the area has to offer and this was the perfect place to stay. Walkable to many restaurants and shops while very close to many hiking and scenic spots.

Our group of 9 people including teenagers and children enjoyed the stay at Shasta star. The property is cute and well maintained. Everything is as described. Some things to improve - the property is old and some of the doors are not locking well, especially the smaller bathroom. Also it was hot when we went and the AC is not functioning very well. Thankfully there are fans/coolers provided.
