The staff at the hotel were great, however I’m so upset with Hotels.com. Your website said there was a pool at this facility and said nothing about it being closed for repair. We booked this hotel and made our trip for the sole reason of having our kids swim in the pool for a few hours. I will now only book directly with a hotel and will never use hotels.com again.

Nice hotel. The bed was made but it was dirty sheets in the first bed. There was hair in between the sheets. I called the desk and was given a new room right away. Overall it appears like a clean place. We just wanted to spend the night away from the kids after our date night.

Everything was excellent as far as cleanliness and service. I would just recommend replacing carpet in the room I was given. It has a couple cigarette burns as well as is stained. Given that it is a non-smoking hotel, the cigarette burns are a surprise.

The only thing that was noticeable to me was the confusing way the light switches worked in the entry way of our room. Bathroom lights wouldn't work at first and then when we flipped another switch outside the bathroom the bathroom lights worked.

The hotel is beautiful. The room we had, I was not happy with the window facing other peoples rooms.. I can see in them. Couldn’t have my window open. But overall good stay, great beds, parking and fitness center. They do charge $160 for incidentals.

Great location and new property with spacious rooms. The remoteness was nice and made me feel safe but was also close enough to take a train into Boston in about 30 minutes. Staff was kind and property was clean. Only con was the floors are hollow. We were woken up from 4-5 AM with someone running in the room above us. Would be perfect stay if we were on the top floor. Despite that, I’d probably still come back for the ease of access to major roads, transportation, and great location out of the city

Terrible. They re-booked us into a room with a configuration that did not work for us, did not notify us either in advance either through Hotels.com or even when we checked in. Staff’s attitude was clearly that it was not his problem, they were sold out and I could talk to his manager in the morning. Meanwhile, it was 9:30pm and we didn’t have a room. Extremely unprofessional behavior even before we discovered we had the wrong room. Everyone has a bad day, this guy decided his bad day was our problem, apparently.

The manager, Nancy, was superb! We felt like royalty. She was so accommodating and generous. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room and pool/gym were great. The front desk staff were oddly rigid and sneaky. I was told no late checkout was possible while the person next to me talking to a diff front desk staff person was told 1pm. I called her out on this and she said they requested it earlier than me and the hotel is SO booked. False- I could see many rooms were empty, not even a weekend. So I ended up staying another night and asked at 6pm the night before for a late checkout the next day. They acted like that didn’t exist until chatting behind closed doors and then allowing it. I was told my keycard would work until 1pm. Instead the card did not work and the TV began shutting down every few min starting at 11. I informed them on my way out that I felt very rushed and pushed out. There was some odd stuff about the rates they offered too- saying Hilton online was cheaper than they could offer. Huh?! I would return for the pool - my young kids loved it. But the shady front desk was not cool.

HGI-Canton is located in a quiet, forested setting, yet close to the highways into Boston, down to the Cape, or up country to NH and beyond. Also close to a well-known donut shop! We were greeted warmly and a problem with a bedside light was addressed quickly. Our weekdays stay was in contrast to the business folks' schedule, so we never were crowded. One little glitch was a breakfast server who was annoyed that we didn't choose the buffet. Some smiles were coaxed with our happy attitude.

The hotel is a bit in the suburbs. Very quiet and clean. The property was well maintained. The restaurant is limited especially breakfast - you can have the buffet or pay the same amount to order something from the menu. Dinner was delicious and the waitress very helpful.

The entire staff was extremely helpful, kind and overall accommodating. The hotel was clean and fresh. The breakfast bar was fantastic. Only complaint is handicapped accessible rooms should be closer to the elevator.

I thought the price of the adult breakfast was overpriced for what was available. My Hilton experiences in the past the continental breakfast was always offered free of charge. Your staff was courteous and responsive to requests, which was very much appreciated.

Furniture in room so uncomfortable! Buffet breakfast is a rip off, get the exact same meal at Hampton Inn! Food in general was unappetizing and luke warm at best! Not going to be a repeat customer!
