Stayed 8 nights

Road is under construction including sidewalk, have to park about 500 feet away and walk through construction to get there. This was not informed to us when booking. Place is nice, shower is small though for such a large bathroom. The small town is great. People are friendly and both the Legion and Corner Tap are very welcoming establishments. Would definitely stay again but the construction is a definite hinder.

Stayed 2 nights

The property itself was amazing, plenty of room for our size of group and the type of celebration we were having. However, we were only given 2 washcloths for 8 people and one bathroom is not nearly enough. The property was booked to host a graduation party. We were told 2 days in advance of a major construction project in front of the property. What we weren’t told about was the difficulty to access the property due to the construction. The construction was so extensive that we had to carry all of our supplies and personal items through the construction site. Not to mention our guests had to do the same!We were told to park at the water tower or park next door. What we weren’t told was that we had to drive 2 miles out of town and on a gravel road to get to the park. We drove around for 20 minutes and finally had to ask a local how to get to the park. After we found the park, we decided to go back because the park was then another hike to haul our belongings to the property. We had two disabled grandparents who had to maneuver the construction site as well.Had I been aware of all this sooner I would have rebooked somewhere else.

Stayed 3 nights

Host was responsive and accommodating initially. BUT several issues developed during our stay. 1. Difficulty accessing the property due to road work. Literally took 45 minutes to figure out how to get there because of it.2. Upon arrival… noted roach bait delivery at the door… should have been a red flag.3. Inaccurate listing description indicating we had 2 bathrooms but only had one and the loft is separate from the main suite, requiring passage through the common foyer to come to the main suite to use the bathroom in the night. 4. Loft area has 2 sleeping areas with total of 3 beds but you have to cross through one sleeping area to get to the next. 5. We began to notice little bugs in the sink didn’t realize at the time it was baby roaches and we just flushed them down the drain.6. By Early Sunday morning we discovered that there were cockroaches living in the cord hole of the coffee maker and kept coming out when we made coffee (probably because it got hot) and I smashed at least half dozen with my slipper. 7. Sunday was also our departure day and host refused to right the wrong because we didn’t make the complaint during our stay (which is false)8. I hope an exterminator was called for this issue & nobody else has had or will have to deal with what we went through **we were very excited for a fun weekend of crafting with cousins as we do 2x per year and hoped this would be our new gathering place as it’s the perfect location. Unfortunately, that will not be the case

Stayed 9 nights

We enjoyed our stay at Bell Towers. I appreciated the thoughtful details such as having q-tips and cotton balls in a container in the bathroom and several fans available for use in the rooms. The place is well decorated and feels comfortable. We were visiting family in Mankato and Waseca. Bell towers is well placed between both cities making our commute to each city easy. We will definitely plan to stay here the next time we visit.
