Beautiful little town with great dining and friendly people. The hotel is very nice, the pool and inner yard area are so nice (the pool area is a bit small but it was never crowded). Great staff, just a very nice experience. I didn't eat at the hotel so cannot rate that, the town is too full of nice restaurants to explore! The great thing about this town is that it is easy to explore on foot and that you can get everything (like water, berries, fruit, toiletries) from the grocery store right next to the hotel. A Walgreens is also within walking distance. It is not the easiest place to get to sans car -as ground transportation from for example Tallahassee via Uber is $70 tip- but VERY walkable once you are there. I am writing this from a solo NYC carless woman's perspective :) to my fellow solo NYC women travelers - may not apply to most people.

Great hotel to stay in the heart of downtown Thomasville. This hotel is in walking distance from what the town has to offer . Friendly staff , bar with food and drinks in the lobby. Good parking, clean facilities . Would recommend

Great location, very nice hotel. Friendly staff. nice pool. I would warn tourists that the locals leave town most holidays and most of the downtown shuts down on major holidays so just a warning if traveling to Thomasville for a quick holiday getaway.

Liked the location and proximity to my family and shopping. Out of the way without being too far. Did not enjoy the lack of power for two hours (no back up power source), no accessible rooms on the first floor (no way to get a 350lb wheelchair out in case of emergency), nor the lack of hot water for three days…

Super clean and excellent stay! If you keep dogs and smokers out, it will stay clean. Im leaving Hilton because its a pet hotel and it stinks and trigger my allergies. I had no idea Marriott was so clean, its my hotel of choice now.

Like most hotels, walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors word for word as well as their tv shows. Shower still had hair from previous people. Not sure who designed the rooms, but they decided to put the non stop flashing fire alarm right above the bed so it was not great to sleep. Would not drink from hotel bar. Ordered a beer and had a floating object in my glass that I did not see until I had already drank 3/4 of the glass. Only positive was the workers were all very nice and caring

The most prominent messaging at check in was the sign that said housekeeping was only every other day, and that became obvious - the room was not clean. There were crumbs and a stain on the couch, and a dirty Qtip on the floor under the sink. Made me not want to touch or sit on anything. The walls were thin and we could hear a man coughing all night. The only positives - plenty of parking and the coffee we bought downstairs before leaving was ok.

We did not rest good you could hear the people in the room talking we had to call front desk at 1:30 in the morning to ask them to help so we could rest. Then the room on the otherside you could hear the guy snoring.

Loved every moment of the start except the mattress was like sleeping on a concrete slab. My husband and I woke all through the night with hips hurting it back and we are both very active strong people that usually don’t have these issues.

For the price I paid for the room, it was very small. Showers need doors that close. The bathroom floor was completely wet once I was done with my shower. The picture for a city view, $225 room showed four windows and I I had two windows.

This was a one night stop and clearly the place to be! The hotel was very nice and maintained well. The hotel restaurant bar area was hopping as most places in town closed very early on a Saturday night. Obviously staff is hard to find, but one small recommendation would be to have the kitchen open maybe a little longer on Fri/Sat’s to help make up for lack of dining availability in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were all friendly and courteous, the check in process was fast, and the rooms was clean and comfortable. The bistro served great food both mornings and evenings, the whole hotel was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The downtown was only a couple of blocks away and had lots of of shops to go in.
