Located in Swanton, this cottage is on the waterfront. Saint Anne's Shrine and Fort Lennox are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lac Champlain Golf Club and Marina At Lighthouse Point. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and ecotours nearby.

The house was just right for our family of 4 with the teenagers staying in the loft for a week-long relaxing getaway. Vermont has been pummeled by rain, affecting the level of the lake everywhere, so unfortunately the beach was hard to access, but not impossible. Kayaks were great, and paddles/vests was easily accessible. The owner was easy to reach. In fact at one point a smoke detector was beeping low battery and she came by to replace it within about 15 minutes! We enjoyed restaurants in St. Albans, Burlington, a bakery/cafe in Alburgh and even Shaggy's snack shack in Swanton. The pizza shop in Swanton is also quite good. Sand Bar and Alburgh Dunes state parks were great swimming spots. Next time we would love to venture over the border into Montreal.

The location is quiet with beautiful views and sunsets. Great swimming and nice to have the kayaks too. House is very nice, clean and with everything you need. Josie was very easy to work with and contact when needed. Highly recommend!

The cabin was small but so cute - set up really well! We loved having the lake right there, at the bottom of our steps. The sunset view was priceless. The kitchen had the essentials for cooking, and the hosts provided a stash of bottled water for us to drink. We used the kitchen and the outdoor grill, so meals were easy. There was no dishwasher, but dishwashing supplies were provided. The hosts were friendly and answered our questions. It's a quiet spot, in the middle of farmland, just a short drive from some cute towns and about an hour into the mountains. (We drove Smugglers Notch into Stowe - beautiful!)

Great spot right on the water include kayaks and canoe's for the family. Location is great for trips into Canada including Montreal and Parc Safari, also close to attractions like Burlington and Ausable Chasm. Plenty of places to eat in nearby St Albans. Perfect place for a family trip and host was excellent. Hopefully return someday!

Everything was seamless. Booked location well in advance. Great experience. Planned to grill outside? but the grill wasn’t available for the winter. Spectacular view of snow covered lake.

Despite the historic flooding in Vermont the week of our stay, we still had a nice time. Got some kayaking in, did some biking on the nearby rail trail, went to nearby Montreal for a day (watch out the closest border crossing closes at 4:00 PM!). Just a heads up, use the plentiful bottled water provided. We didn’t notice the note about the treated well water until our second day. Luckily boiled for tea so not a problem. Overall enjoyed our stay and managed to catch a couple of beautiful sunsets between rainstorms. Thank you!

Direct access off the back deck down to the water was key as we ice fished directly behind the house. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for getaway in northern Vermont..

Beautiful property! Great view from the patio and living room windows of the lake. Cute home, very clean with all the necessities. Bed was comfortable, nice kitchen. We did not use the loft but it looked very nice too. Wish we had good for more than two night! Recommended!

If I could give this property and the owner a 10 star rating I would because I just can’t say enough great things about the property and the host! The house was perfect for our sisters getaway. Everything about this place was perfect. The owner has done such a good job making it a homey and cozy vibe. They also make sure to leave you everything you need, including coffee and hot chocolate and even cream and sugar! The place is beautiful and well kept and the view is absolutely perfect. The host also answers right away and great communication. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

My family of four (adult children) found the property to have everything we could’ve needed. Beautiful view and sunsets. House was extremely clean, well stocked. Road The house is on is wonderful to bike on. Canadian border very close Highly Recommend. Only comment- is that water doesn’t taste great so plan to buy or bring your own.

This is our second time staying here and absolutely loved it just as much as the first. We took our kids this trip and the loft on top was perfect for them. We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful home. It’s a peaceful neighborhood and views are stunning. Everything was nicely appointed, kitchen was fully stocked and lots of hot water!! Sheets in the bedroom were very soft and we slept great. I would highly recommend a stay if you’re interested in a vacation on lake Champlain for a small group. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Great stay!!

It was a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed kayaking, biking and hiking the nearby wildlife park. Josie thought of everything and we really enjoyed a quite and peaceful long weekend. I would recommend it for a couple but it’s a pretty small place for kids

This cute A-Frame is just as pictured. The view is jaw-dropping. This part of the lake is often windy. Check-in/-out were both easy. The place is comfortable. Josie is super responsive and thoughtful. If it looks right to you, it is.

The house was perfect for my wife and I. Our stay was relaxing with short trips during the day and watching beautiful sunsets from the patio in the evening. Vermont has a wonderful vibe and we experienced it first hand while staying at bluff house.

This was a great place for a couple’s weekend! The cottage is the perfect size for 2 with everything we needed to cook, stay cozy, and relax. Josie was communicative and took care to make sure the fire pit was stocked and ready when I requested it, even though it had still been in storage for the winter. This was the perfect place for a quick getaway to the Burlington Vermont area (Swanton). The cabin is nearly new and is very quaint. It has everything you need for your stay - a Keurig/coffee maker, a great selection of pots and pans, water in the frig, comfortable beds, a large TV, a beautiful deck and views from every window. I would highly recommend this cabin. Josie, the owner, was terrific with communication as well.

We loved staying in this cozy little lake house. It was perfect for my husband and I. It was so nice watching the sun rise and set over the lake. We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, and the location was great. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was also easy to go into town or down to St. Albans for food/groceries. While the weather wasn’t great (not surprising for April) we did enjoy the views of the lake. Josie was a wonderful host and very responsive. We will definitely come back for another visit!

Excellent! Josie is super nice and easy to work w! We loved her comfy home and the view is amazing! Also, the folks at Hogs bait shop were very nice, super friendly! They are conveniently located near the rental! Highly recommend!

The home was easy to find (with GPS) and check in was a breeze. It had everything we needed. We were looking for a place to relax which we found. It’s a bit of a drive to get anywhere but there isn’t any traffic so that wasn’t a problem.

This was the perfect place for a quick getaway to the Burlington Vermont area (Swanton). The cabin is nearly new and is very quaint. It has everything you need for your stay - a Keurig/coffee maker, a great selection of pots and pans, water in the frig, comfortable beds, a large TV, a beautiful deck and views from every window. I would highly recommend this cabin. Josie, the owner, was terrific with communication as well.

Great spot right on the water include kayaks and canoe's for the family. Location is great for trips into Canada including Montreal and Parc Safari, also close to attractions like Burlington and Ausable Chasm. Plenty of places to eat in nearby St Albans. We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful home. It’s a peaceful neighborhood and views are stunning. Everything was nicely appointed, kitchen was fully stocked and lots of hot water!! Sheets in the bedroom were very soft and we slept great. I would highly recommend a stay if you’re interested in a vacation on lake Champlain for a small group. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Great stay!!

The house was just right for our family of 4 with the teenagers staying in the loft for a week-long relaxing getaway. Vermont has been pummeled by rain, affecting the level of the lake everywhere, so unfortunately the beach was hard to access, but not impossible. Kayaks were great, and paddles/vests was easily accessible. The owner was easy to reach. In fact at one point a smoke detector was beeping low battery and she came by to replace it within about 15 minutes! We enjoyed restaurants in St. Albans, Burlington, a bakery/cafe in Alburgh and even Shaggy's snack shack in Swanton. The pizza shop in Swanton is also quite good. Sand Bar and Alburgh Dunes state parks were great swimming spots. Next time we would love to venture over the border into Montreal.

Everything about this place was perfect. The owner has done such a good job making it a homey and cozy vibe. They also make sure to leave you everything you need, including coffee and hot chocolate and even cream and sugar! The place is beautiful and well kept and the view is absolutely perfect. The host also answers right away and great communication. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Despite the historic flooding in Vermont the week of our stay, we still had a nice time. Got some kayaking in, did some biking on the nearby rail trail, went to nearby Montreal for a day (watch out the closest border crossing closes at 4:00 PM!). Just a heads up, use the plentiful bottled water provided. We didn’t notice the note about the treated well water until our second day. Luckily boiled for tea so not a problem. Overall enjoyed our stay and managed to catch a couple of beautiful sunsets between rainstorms. Thank you!

My family of four (adult children) found the property to have everything we could’ve needed. Beautiful view and sunsets. House was extremely clean, well stocked. Road The house is on is wonderful to bike on. Canadian border very close Highly Recommend. Only comment- is that water doesn’t taste great so plan to buy or bring your own.

There are a lot of thoughtful touches to this place such as lamps with warm lighting in the living room that add a cozy touch after you turn off the ceiling lights. The sunsets and sunrises are really beautiful. The location is near a friendly store. I recommend this home for anytime of year.
