Rare country setting near Highlands Ranch, Littleton & Chatfield State Park

The house was lovely, well furnished and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Host was very responsive to questions. Please be aware that although the rental contract suggests that the host is open to allowing visitors (i.e., people who are not staying at the property) with prior permission, they are very strict about not allowing occupancy on the property above 10 people at ANY time. While I can understand that they don't want parties at the house, we weren't able to invite a few people who live locally over for a meal. The host did offer to cancel our reservation when our request to have a few people over was declined, but our stay was in less than a week's time, so we didn't want to make other arrangements.

The house was very clean, easy to live in and attractive. The setting made outside dining wonderful. Overall we had a great time and would return again. If I have one concern, it would be the price. I think is was a little overpriced for the three nights. I don't feel it was enough to make someone for go renting this lovely house. I just think its something for our host to consider.E
