Always like an AC hotel, unfortunately, this one had a very small pool and next door they were building a new hotel. It was loud and unbearable at the pool. The location was good. Next time I would book on my own directly… as there were added charges once we got to the hotel. Never experienced that before.

Great hotel and location but the construction next door was very loud. Couldn’t enjoy outside hotel areas such as decks, pool, bar etc. Hotel did offer beach chairs near another hotel which was a good break. Until the neighboring construction is over the hotel should partner with another nearby hotel so guests can access a quieter pool deck. Would not have stayed here and paid for a room patio deck if we had known this. Hotel staff never even mentioned or apologized for the noise.

I give this place 10/10. Just go for it!! I stayed at the 9th floor wrap around ocean front patio. Pool is kind of small but lots of deck options to lou ge around either in the shade or not. The pool var is a great touch and they use Island Oasis products for their frozen drinks!! Iykyk!!

Property is beautiful. Valet is great! There is loud construction going on next door but you can not hear it inside your room. Location is amazing. 2 minutes walk to the beach very convenient. The hotel should invest in additional elevators. Expect very long wait times since they are shared with service staff. But over all a very nice stay. I’d say 9/10!

We stayed at AC Hotel for 3 nights, 4 days. The hotel was very clean, easy access to the beach, and walking distances to shops and restaurants. The area around the hotel was well taken care of and the amenities included (beach chairs, towels, beach bag, etc) were helpful to have. The pool was a little small. Overall, I would recommend AC Hotel to anyone traveling to Fort Lauderdale !

Very good location, hotel room is in good condition. Only reason I don't rate it 5 is for added fees I felt were a bit scumy, for exemple, you get 2 chairs on the beach but you need to pay an extra $30 per day to get sunshade.

Overall room was good, besides the noise coming from the construction site next to the hotel and in front of the balcony where you supposed to view the ocean!!! The elevators we’re pain on waiting time because they haven’t service elevator for housekeeping and maintenance so everyone was using them!!!!!!!

This property has poor practice of overbooking their rooms. They could not accommodate our RESERVED and PRE PAID booking and would/could not offer an upgrade. Their only concession provided was waiving the resort fees. The very next couple checking in also experienced the same poor treatment. During the course of the week we learned of 4 other couples who also had the same experience. I feel for the front desk staff. This is an obvious standard practice that they are left to deal with the angry frustrated customers. The management team is failing them. Other key notables. There is a new condo being built right next door. Expect to hear noise from 7AM to 6PM. Looks like this may go on for at least another month. The outdoor balcony space is dirty with concrete dust from the build site. This has also stained the outdoor furniture. The room and hotel itself is looking pretty worn down for only being open for what we were told is 2 years. Breakfast is underwhelming for a Marriott property. It was not much more than a continental breakfast. The staff struggled to keep items refilled and seating was limited and tables were hard to come buy that didn’t have dishes left uncleared from previous guest. When they were cleared they weren’t wiped down. The cleaners struggled to turn over and make up the rooms. Ours was missed once and did not get completed until after 3PM the other days.

The pool was not clean , cement pieces all over the pool, not sand. Obviously they didn't care to clean it. My balcony. You couldn't step on it. So dirty. Inside the room was ok

The room flooring was filthy. I ruined a pair of white socks within 10 minutes of not having on shoes. Walking in the room barefoot was gross as your feet would get all gritty. After no response to the message I sent, we ended up “mopping” the floors ourselves with water and bathroom towels. They were filthy black when we were done. We paid almost a thousand bucks for two nights. Never again! Also - we grabbed two half bottles of wine from the snack area. The posted price was $20 each and we were billed $27.50 each!

Good-I liked the views. Bad-While the floor in the room looked clean, it was not. Our feet were black after just a few minutes of walking on the floor. A wet mop or damp swiffer may do the trick.

We had an early flight but the hotel was able to allow us to checkin early. The room had an odor of animal urine but there was no other rooms available. The hotel was nice and a great location. They are still doing construction next door but it's not as loud as others say. All in all I would return.

Excellent location! We were fortunate to have a room on the 9th floor with a lovely view of the intercoastal waterway. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We were able to walk everywhere so no car was necessary. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The pool area was small and not inviting. Probably suitable for young families with very small children, only. Great restaurant next door for breakfast, lunch or dinner! They also had a fun piano bar. The hotel has a partnership with a beach chair/umbrella service which is super convenient! Overall a very pleasant hotel and staff. Highly recommend!

Staff was nice and upgraded our room to get away from construction noise, but the noise was from 7-5 every day, not good for a vacation stay unfortunately. Maybe business or a cruise night but you can’t see much beach at the room because of the huge condo, and not good for a quiet stay. Maybe up the beach next time.

Booked ocean front and got downgraded, reception staff were very rude no apology no refund the difference and told it was my fault ! The room we got was nice and clean but not what we paid for ! Spoke later on to another person who was fine but he could do nothing ! On day 2 walked passed reception and the same staff then starting talking about me to themself in a rude manner! I’m a regular visitor to Fort Lauderdale but will I be going to the AC again !! NO

Save your money and go down the road to the W for the same price and much better service and accommodations. Our first night, the LIGHTS in our room were broken. Imagine being woken up every 35-40 minutes because the lights in your room turn themselves on. Seriously. In addition, loud banging above your head. 2nd night, moved room because of lights, and SHOWER doesn't turn on. What a joke! We've stayed at motels with better accommodations. Front desk staff unhelpful, claim they can't do anything due to booking with Expedia. Waste of our money. And this room was $500/night!!!

Upon arriving at the AC Marriott Beach in Fort Lauderdale looking forward to spending a great time with my family. We were greeted with a very rude uninviting front desk agent doing our five day stay there were two other front desk agents that was very cold and rude for no reason I did speak to another agent about our stay. I was told that he would speak to the manager on staff. doing my stay. I did not get an apology me nor my family for how were was treated walking into the hotel so I would never stay at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach ever again

Our first bump in the road was checking in. Checking in late will trigger a cancellation with Expedia but the receptionist was able to re-enstate our room. A necklace was stolen from my room and when I called the manager he accused me of cussing his staff and made little to no effect in helping retrieve it. Other then that the property it’s self is great. As a vegetarian it is not work buying the breakfast buffet package because all we could eat was bland potatoes and fruit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the AC Hotel By Marriott Fort Lauderdale. We arrived from an early morning flight and were allowed to check-in. While our specific room was not ready, we chose to wait it out a bit. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! Some specific perks are the coffee service which was delicious. The beach towels and the beach bag included were also very nice! Kennedi from the pool bar and Chris were excellent workers. Friendly, attentive and helpful! We did not park a car but would have rented one if the parking wasn’t as much as it was. This is the only downfall. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is perfectly situated near the beach and many great restaurants. The quick ride down to South Beach is also a plus. However, unlike South Beach this city sleeps so you don't have to worry about hearing loud parties or party goers at night. Its a nice chill area where grown folk go to play!

Truly enjoyed my four night stay at the AC Hotel.The location was great, food and drinks were amazing. Just be prepared to spend over the 400.00 holding fee if you intend to use your 25.00 daily credit for 2 people if you valet specifically. The only complaint I would say I have really is the super small trash cans in the room and bathroom and the carpeted areas smelled a little like old carpet. Nothing unbearable but just minor details that could be improved.

The hotel is in overall good condition, generally clean, and the location is unbeatable if you like the beach. There was construction on a huge building next door but with the sliding glass door shut I slept just fine. The housekeeping could be improved. I called down the second day around 1:00 and nobody ever came. I had to call again to get new towels. Finally, they came on day four and they missed several things. They changed the sheets, but not the pillow cases. They did not put any new water bottles in the fridge. They only gave us one small wash rag for two people. Generally, the staff were helpful, although the bar staff both at the pool and downstairs did not go out of their way to help you - they seemed not so excited to have to help you. Probably because gratuity was automatically included. The food we ordered at the pool was good. One huge compliment - we arrived around noon from the airport and our room was ready. That was amazing!

Giving 3 stars because while the stay was great, they force you to buy 30$ worth of food otherwise it’s deducted either way but on top of that force you to pay 18% gratuity when the service was mid. I waited 45 minutes for a tiny quesadilla when no one else ordered food. It was almost empty. So in the end your paying more then the 30$. They know what they’re doing.

Customer service: I stayed for 2 nights during the week. As far and the customer service nothing stood out about anyone staff member. No one was particularly warm or welcoming felt more like they were following a script. Fees: I was aware of the 25 per night fee.. but I was fine with bc it says it comes with 2 beach chairs which it does but….. the umbrella is not included and is an extra $30 bucks Location:was excellent walkable to nearby shops and restaurants. Bar: I used the rooftop bar to order food and drinks.. the Buffalo chicken rap was great the drinks however were not the best I ordered the passion fruit drink which tasted watered down.. the pina colada was better.. one night I came and I saw people sitting at the bar so i decided to ask what time they closed the bar tender seemed annoyed and said she was closed.. The room: I booked an ocean front room. The room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, you could hear much of the ocean with the loudness of the air conditioning unit not sure it from the Marriott building or the building in front..

The decor of the hotel was good and the front desk was excellent . The property condition was good and parking was easy but the valet charges of $50 per night was expensive.(expected during the holidays ) The only thing, bad was the Bar. The Lady at the bar was completely disinterested in working .She had a couple of friends she was talking to and it appeared that she was doing us a favor by making drinks for us . Also the cocktail drinks she made for us were very much underpar. Otherwise the hotel ambience was great .
