Wailea Grand Champions: Destination Residences Hawaii

What guests think

Reviews of Wailea Grand Champions - CoralTree Residence Collection highlight spacious, condo-style units with well-equipped kitchens, clean interiors, and attractive golf course or ocean views, plus a convenient Wailea location near beaches and shops, creating an easy, home-like stay.

Guests often praise friendly, responsive management and straightforward check-in, though some note the office is offsite or initial instructions missing. Pools and hot tubs are popular, but there are occasional complaints about crowding, temperature, or kid-related restrictions, and one guest reported a parking assignment not being honored. While many units feel modern and comfortable, a few are dated, some air conditioners are noisy or struggle to cool master suites, and minor pests or maintenance issues appear in isolated stays. Expect a roomy condo base with resort-style conveniences and a mostly smooth experience.

The only complaint I have is that the pool wasn't kid friendly. We had 5 little girls with us, and in the evening, we were always asked to leave the facility because they were too noisy. Also, the hot tub was cold for several days in a row.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Gran Champions Villas. The unit was extremely well kept and we loved the view of both the ocean and the golf course. The pool was nice but small for the number of units.

We had a simply wonderful time staying at this property for 3 nights. We had a beautiful view on our deck overlooking the fairway on the second hole with an extended view of the ocean. Our condo was super clean and neat. We could have stayed there a month. Great location near the Shops at Wailea. We highly recommend this place!

My family and I had a very enjoyable one week stay at the hotel. The check in and check out was made easy, the house was fully equipped with appliances and kitchenware. Neighbors are quiet, and nice golf course view. Love the environment, 4mins drive to Wailea Beach, we spent 2 days in a row going to sunset at the Wailea beach. A few dinning options nearby. It exceeds my expectation, and the real scene of the room is better than website, you won't be disappoint. Just one little dip is we found small pests on the kitchen counter and bathroom counter frequently. The only bits of annoying thing. Well, I'm still going to give 5/5 star to this property regardless.

Really lovely property that is well managed. Management company not on the property and check in instructions were not communicated. Otherwise, management was responsive and easy to get a hold when assistance was needed. Only downside to our stay was a sugar ant infestation in the kitchen and a broken water line at the property. Luckily we were away the full day and the water was turned back on shortly after we arrived back.

What and spacious for our group of five adults and a toddler. Good facilities, including for recycling. Kitchen well equipped with dishes, pots and pans and appliances. We appreciated the large living room and large balcony (lanai) with adjacent washer/dryer. The units with a view on the ocean must be 5 stars .

The 3 bedroom is very roomy. The scenery is pretty and well kept. We had a group of 19, we all stayed in the same complex but with different property managers or owners. Some condos are very modern and clean, others are a little dingy and could use some upgrades. One HUGE complaint amongst all of us is that the master bedroom doesn’t cool as well as the rest of the condo and the master bathroom is uncomfortably hot! There is not even an exhaust fan.
