Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton East - Beavercreek by IHG

My kids liked the pancake machine at breakfast, as well as the cinnamon rolls. Our room had a small refrigerator, but I was surprised to not have a freezer compartment inside. The hotel was clean. The pool area is small, so it was LOUD when packed with kids.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. The “business center” was a table in the middle of lobby in Between checkin area and bfast. It was loud and unable to work. My kids wanted to go swimming- no pool towels available at 10am. Asked for bath towels- they did not have any and suggested I hunt down a housekeeper and ask for some off their cart. Staff was very unhelpful and rude. Locked out of room before check out. Room was clean. Towels were dingy.

Great stay, but we were disappointed that the pool was closed for repair. We chose this hotel for the ratings and pool.

Difficult place to review. Rooms were clean and good size but very noisy. HVAC in room was very loud. Easily wakes you up when it turns on at night. Walls are also a bit thin. Could hear neighbors pretty easily. Bathrooms were nice, up to date, and roomy. Great workout room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as some appliances were out of order (fountain drinks, pancake maker) and main dishes were heat and eat cheese or veggie omelettes. Cinnamon rolls were good as always. Nice area around hotel. Will stay elsewhere next time due to excessive room noise. If you can’t get a good night’s sleep then what’s the point of staying there?

Very small fitness room but everything is really clean. Rooms were spacious. In a very nice area.

The bed and bedding are luxurious- felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! . I travel for business and it is one of the best hotels

When we go to Ohio to visit our daughter at university we love staying here. The location is great, the hotel is really clean and our stay is always really great.

We have stayed at two Holiday Inns semi-recently, 1 room on the first trip and 2 rooms on the second. All 3 rooms had us questioning if cleaning has become optional at their locations. For this location, the first room had coffee grounds on the counter and the fridge was both not cold enough and dirty. The second room we found multiple hairs on one of the two beds. It could have been brushed off as the cleaning person’s hair falling out while remaking the bed except that it was very obviously 3 different kinds. One of the towels also had hair. If I’m paying roughly $150 a night per room, I expect cleanliness I was also quite unhappy with the fact that we requested adjoining rooms and instead couldn’t even get 2 rooms on the same floor. I understand if adjoining isn’t available but that just seemed ridiculous. It seems that the front desk folks are mostly paid to sit anywhere but at the desk and play on their computers or whatever else they want. Being prior military I understand excessive bouts of downtime, but I would at least expect them to be behind the desk so you know they are the employees. Also, $10.50 for 3 CANS of soda? Are you making these brand name drinks onsite yourself? $6 at most could be justified. But I could purchase a whole 12 pack for less. Charging for convenience is such a scam and Holiday Inn loves it I guess. We will be avoiding Holiday Inn from now on.

This hotel was in a great location for various restaurants and lots of shopping, it was in a safe location close to the highway. The room had a musty smell, and the lobby floor was covered in wayer from what was said to be from cleaning the carpet. There was no front desk attendant when we arrived at 3:05 pm. We waited 15 mins. before she showed up aling with a manager named Bob. They ssid they were in the middle of a shift change. She printed paperwork for me to sign and while I was reading it, Bob said just sign here, its the same ingo. you read on the website to book the room. I told him, I would be reading the entire doc. before digning anything. Customer service could be better.

Very clean & comfortable. We stopped for one night on a road trip and this was the cleanest hotel we stayed in on the whole trip. The decor is simple, but the rooms are spotless. The breakfast room was spotless and the staff were polite and attentive. The hotel is pretty new. The beds were awesome - so comfortable.

Waited 15 mins to check in the night we checked in. We called the number it said to call to get a person working but it just rang. Hotel bathroom shower curtain was filthy. Breakfast pancake machine didn’t work. For almost $600 for two nights you would think it would be better.

Close to 675 and 35 and Wright State University, we like this location. Our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed but otherwise the room appeared clean. It was nice to have a coffee maker, small fridge and small microwave in the room. Many restaurants nearby - love that.

I booked this place based on the good reviews of breakfast, beds, and sound proof rooms. However, the room wasn’t quite sound proof as I could hear stomping in the room above us late at night and early morning. The fire/smoke detector on the ceiling was flashing a bright light all night keeping us awake. The blinds were not black out so we could still see the parking lot lights at night. The positives were the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Not sure I would book this place again due to the noise.

Great place to stay in the area, off the main road in beavercreek. Was a solid stay jo complaints, happy it had smart tv, microwave, and fridge. My only complaint was the water pressure was one of the worst I have ever experienced, not sure if just my room , but was really bad.

My stay was enjoyable overall, but the bathroom could definitely use some improvements. The shower was not very easy to operate and the water pressure was quite low. The toilet was also very low, which may not be comfortable for everyone. While the shower does have a curtain, the overall bathroom setup feels dated and could benefit from an upgrade.”

The room was spacious clean with a very good breakfast. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect.

The hotel looks brand new. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very clean. My only complaint is the Kourig coffee maker did not work in the room.

Clean, comfortable, updated. Easy check in and out. Reasonably priced. Walls a little thin, so could hear a lot of movement in the morning, but nothing outrageous. Would definitely recommend!

Great, spotless property, well maintained and smells clean, price was good and the staff was friendly. Only complaint I have is that there was not enough towels in the pool area, and when we requested more, they were unwilling to give what we needed. The same went for bathroom towels, I needed two extra and was told no.

I love this place. I have had children at Cedarville University for the last five years, and this hotel has been my favorite place to stay. Everything is nearby, in terms of restaurants and supply stores (Wal-Mart, Sans, Target, Hobby Lobby). The staff is wonderful! Miranda was the sweet staff member at the desk this time and last. Clean, nice, comfortable. Highly recommend!

Checked in for a 2-night stay booked through Expedia at this non-smoking property. My room smelled like an ash tray, so I asked for another room. I was told nothing was available, even when I asked for any type of room. I told the front desk we wouldn't be able to stay and asked if my reservation would be refundable if I booked something else. Front desk said "yes" and were apologetic. I booked a hotel down the street then went to the front to process refund. Front desk said since I booked through Expedia I'll have to go through Expedia. Expedia said they would try to get a refund and that the hotel had to approve it. They refunded one night and said that was all the hotel would approve. Called the hotel. Front desk said it was the manager's call and that he was off-property and wasn't available to speak with, but that they would ask him again and get back to me. Never heard back. I asked Expedia what I did wrong and they said "nothing, I understand that this is frustrating". Moral of this story... avoid this property... they are dishonest. I'm dumping Expedia as well. I thought they would have my back in a situation like this, but they clearly don't. This property pocketed my reservation money while being unable to deliver what I reserved.

Hotel staff was super friendly. Check in and out was super easy. Did have an incident where i was charged by both hotels.com and the hotel, but contacted the hotel and got a response quickly and was refunded quickly as well. Overall it was a great hotel. Breakfast was great. Close to many shops and fairfield commons mall.

They gave me the wrong room and after we came back from dinner they wanted us to change rooms even though we settled. I was very disappointed about service

Great hotel and great location. The property was clean, the breakfast was great, and it was conveniently located near lots of dining and shopping.

Hotel is a little worn, but well-kept and clean. Room has some good modernizations such as USB ports and multiple light options. Breakfast area was pretty cramped given the hotel was not that full it seemed when we stayed.

Great breakfast options, however the eggs, sausage, and sausage gravy were all luke warm - not hot. OJ was watery, no pulp.
