Stayed 2 nights

We made a reservation and the reservation was confirmed. Then after driving there and tired they say that we dont have a reservation and that they no longer have a room for us. This is after making our reservation well in advance knowing that alot of hotels would be booked that night and we were right after an hour and a half drive we finally found a place to stay we'll exhausted from the road. If you plan on this place to have any care they messed up you'd be very wrong.

Stayed 1 night

We needed a place near Seattle without a World Cup ransom, so Sunshine Motel II it was. The vibe? Seedy roadside desperation meets one inspection away from condemnation. Finding it was a side quest, hidden behind another motel. It even defeated both Apple and Google, and after the 4th U-turn, Siri said, “IDK, good luck.” The parking lot commits to apocalypse-meets-meth-lab chic: plywood, busted glass, and cars long dead since the Soviet Union was a threat. Next door is a boarded-up roadside petri dish that once had neon, bad decisions on tap, and a guy named Randy launching pool balls like ICBMs. Finding the office meant wandering the grounds deciding which boarded-up entrance to choose. Beside the office, a pool, or what used to be a pool the way a fossil used to be an animal. The sagging vinyl cover had life growing ON TOP of it, old enough to vote if pool sludge gains rights. Avoid eye contact at all costs. The room came with rusted hinges, vomit stains with Netflix-level backstory, and without all the annoying convenience of a deadbolt or chain. Nothing says “sleep tight” like a door with the structural confidence of a wet graham cracker. Where the Overlook was pretentious, Sunshine Motel II ejects all fake luxury and goes feral with authenticity. It might earn 1 star for comfort, but to live to tell the tale earns unlimited stars for the story on its own.
