This place sounds great on paper. But when you arrive, there are quirks. Lots of quirks. The decor is an odd mix of old and new. The digital keypad to enter the room is not intuitive. The “shower” (which was a large elevated whirlpool with a spray hose) had very poor water pressure. And the list goes on. The one positive was the value. But I guess you get what you don’t pay for!

A very old hotel that provided a unique experience. Loved our stay and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had been travelling for a week and this was the end of our trip so were thrilled that it was such a pleasant and unique experience!

This inn dates from the 1700s! During breakfast the owner served fresh-baked croissants. The restaurant fare was tasty and very reasonably-priced. Friday and Saturday nights features free live piano in the ballroom.
