Across reviews, Garden Square Inn is praised for its convenient airport proximity and exceptionally friendly hosts who arrange pickups and guidance, though a few guests reported communication lapses, transfer mix ups, or difficulty getting help during late check in.
Rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and well equipped with small touches like snacks and coffee, but some mention noise, small or shared bathrooms, and occasional maintenance issues such as weak hot water, AC problems, or a slippery shower floor. Shared kitchen facilities and a pleasant courtyard are highlighted, and several guests note nearby cafes and shops, while a few found the area less convenient for reaching central attractions. Overall, expect a practical, friendly stopover with simple comforts.

Airport pickup and drop off was super easy, Georgia the hostess was great with communication. Room was good - we appreciated the coffee maker when we had a 4 am airport drop off. We were only in the room for about six hours between flights but it was exactly what we needed for a quick shower and sleep. Only downside was there was a shelf in the bathroom that kept falling over.

Perfect for accommodation near Athens airport. I praise you to take advantage of the transportation service to get to the port, airport, etc. easily and at a very good price. Electra is so helpful, easy to reach, she knows all the good spots around, and is very friendly!

We loved everything about the Double M Square. The courtyard is so cute and the room had everything you need for a great stay. Georgia was wonderful to deal with. She picked us up at the airport, even when our flight was delayed getting us in after midnight! Plus she even drove us back to the airport when we left. Our only complaint was that we were only there for a day and didn't get enough time to enjoy it. We would definitely come back again.

The host was very helpful and nice. Bit of a mix up waiting for the transfer pick up. I waited for ages but without phone connection I didn't realise they were not going to show unless they could contact me. Air Con was great to have and location convenient for an overnight stay close to the airport. Free water, tea/coffee was supplied. Hot shower, everything I needed.

Our stay was great. The host was very helpful in picking us up and dropping us to the airport. She also had great recommendations of where to eat and what to do. The property itself was amazing. Great room with air-conditioner, and the property comes with a large kitchen and eating space, not to mention free laundry access. Definitely recommend.

Spacious ensuite room with shared kitchen facilities. The room we were in does have stairs to get to but there were other ones on the ground so you would just need to ask. A bit of street noise but quiet for the most part.

This was a very easy and helpful stop after a very late night arrival at the Athens airport - very practical with a pick up arranged in advance and a drop back to the car rental, and very friendly service given that we arrivee at 0330!

The host, Georgia, was awesome. Very nice, spoke great English and provided transportation from the airport at 1:30 AM (for a fee). However, the actual room left a lot to be desired. While clean, the bed was small and uncomfortable.. the AC malfunctioned quite a bit - it continuously turned off by itself and wouldn’t turn back on without me unplugging it and plugging it back in. Even when the AC was on, it did not produce cool air - certainly less than ideal in the middle of summer. The toilet flushed one time and then wouldn’t flush for the remainder of my stay. While the staff is nice and attentive, there are certainly better options when taking into account the price of the stay.

The two women I spoke with, I think Electra and Gina were very nice. Very quick to let me in my room and shuttle me to the air port. Also, the 1:00 pm check in is very nice. Room was large and they supplied the communal kitchen with water bottles. Netflix on tv and ac works great. Nice patio and balcony to hang out on if you’re inclined. Over all great stay. Highly recommended for only $85

The basic studio I booked was excellent. Very clean, very well decorated and most of all comfortable and quiet. There were little snacks on the table which the hostess had told me were complimentary. The only down side for me was that the shower floor had vinyl flooring so when it got wet it was very slippery and there was no handrail in case I slipped.

We were picked up from the airport with ease. It was a short drive to the Air B&B. The room was quiet and had everything we needed for a good night's rest before our early fight the next morning. Georgia pointed out options for coffee and breakfast that are within a short walking distance. Georgia picked us up at the agreed time and drove us back to the airport with directions to our airline check-in. I can not say enough good things about staying here. Whether it's for one or more nights it is an excellent place to stay! And you can't beat the price!

Gina was the absolute best. Our flight got canceled after being in the airport waiting for 11 hours. It was a very stressful day and our airline was not willing to help with accommodation. That’s when I came across Garden square in. Have never received such amazing genuine service. She was so helpful so accommodating and so kind. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and offered her help always. She was easy to contact and very responsive. Her customer service enhanced our stay in Greece despite the stressful situation. 10/10 recommend!!!

Georgia picked us up at the agreed time and drove us back to the airport with directions to our airline check-in. I can not say enough good things about staying here. Whether it's for one or more nights it is an excellent place to stay! And you can't beat the price!
We were picked up from the airport with ease. It was a short drive to the Air B&B. The room was quiet and had everything we needed for a good night's rest before our early fight the next morning. Georgia pointed out options for coffee and breakfast that are within a short walking distance. Very easy to get to from the airport, Georgia was extremely helpful and accommodating. We explored the square a little bit and it seems like a very nice little town. We enjoyed our short stay and it served its purpose for an overnight lodging before our flight the following day. Thank you for hosting us.

Gracias Georgia.

Travelers should know, this is more an Airbnb than an Inn. There is no one on site to help. We had to check in late because of a delayed flight, and when we got to the property, there was no information on how to get into our room. The proprietor was entirely unresponsive trying to check in, which was scary. We had to wake up another guest, who was kind enough to help. The proprietor said they would schedule a transfer to and from the airport, but none came, so we had to hail a cab twice. The sofa bed was broken, so our son had a terrible night sleep. It's really unfortunate because the room was cute and a reasonable distance from the airport. There is also a really nice coffee shop nearby.

We needed a room just for under 12hrs to catch our flight back home. The room was perfect for us. Had a coffee machine and we’re able to have coffee before our flight. The owner is super efficient. Picked us up both ways. I recommend the place for a quick stay.
