Cozy Cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay to the fullest! It’s a cute old fashioned, very homely impeccably clean cozy little Perl of a place, perfect to stay all week at the beach. We ordered local food from the restaurants at Flagler Beach, that was amazing - Rocky’s pizza we even ordered twice. I had troubles with the access code after hours and staff assisted right away and very professional. There’s water hoses around the house so you don’t bring in the sand. The beds are super comfortable and the beachfront deck is the best place to be….Bring a good read, the whole cottage gives Percy Jackson :)

Comfortable home, nothing fancy and that is just want we wanted. Loved the back deck. Loved that there was a water hose on the back deck to spray off the sand. The drive way was trimmed up so you could see pulling out of drive way and that was much appreciated. We had 3 automobiles and we had plenty of room in the driveway to park. We would definitely to stay here again.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. House was perfect for our wants and location was beautiful! Recommend triming back entrance trees, we missed the drive serveral times plus they brushed the top and sides of our truck. Otherwise the house needs coasters for all the sweaty drinks. The dryer did not work for us but found a laundry mat. 🙃

Yes, the cottage itself is dated, but you cannot beat this location, they allow pets and it's reasonably priced, we would absolutely stay here again.Like other guests, our assigned code did not work upon our arrival so I had to try to find a phone number to get in touch with someone who changed it while on the phone with me and that worked. We could have used a few extra towels and some rugs would have been nice, but overall, we greatly enjoyed our little slice of heaven with our puppies out on the back porch.The beach is sublime and we enjoyed listening to the waves all hours of the day and night.

This is our second time staying in the Cozy Cottage. We enjoyed our stay and love the beach there. We would highly recommend for a family with younger children and family fur babies.

It would be difficult to find a place closer to the beach. It was nice sitting on the porch. It was clean and they allow dogs. In my opinion the description is not accurate and the pictures look better than the cottage. The furniture is dated and OK, but certainly not plush. Two eyes of the stove do not function properly The toaster works if you keep the handle pressed while its working and it is not nearly as well equipped as indicated. What little bit of beach equipment that was there was not even usable. We will certainly not be booking this house again, nor are we likely to book anything that is listed with VTrips again. The house needs to be checked for items needing maintenance and repair.

Stayed over 4th of July weekend and it was perfeft! The home is exactly as advertised and while it is a bit dated it was impeccably clean and is perfect beach house. Plenty of games and beach toys and the back deck is an amazing place to watch the sunrise and enjoy meals. Key code didnt work initially but call was answered immediately by a friendly staff member who pushed a new code and we were immediately in. My only regret is not staying longer!

Beautiful beach, lots of privacy and house had your basics covered.

My family stayed here for three nights and loved this place. It’s cozy, has a great porch, and love the quiet beach!

The property was not well maintained. Upon arrival the door code was inoperative. The back door was unlocked. We found five windows unlocked and one was open. Not a very good first impression. The bedding was worn and one blanket was badly stained. The cold air return vent in the hallway was filthy. There were exposed screws on the exterior staircase along with three broken balusters. There were multiple screws on the deck floor that were not flush. This property needs to be updated and refreshed.

Recommend a heads up about the construction next door. The contractors were parking on both sides of driveway, making it difficult to safely exit the property. Trash was left in front of garage doors when we arrived. It could have been broken down and placed into the trash receptacles outside. Ceiling fan large back bedroom and globes in hallway bathroom were dirty, otherwise the place was clean. The view was awesome. The front purchase furniture had been freshly painted, but the paint was flaking off the metal parts. Again, the view was awesome. I would stay again. :)

Not enough towels or silverware. Uncomfortable, old, dirty furniture. We enjoyed the beach, but future renters should know that the beach is not sand. Because of renourishment, it is crushed shells.

Location excellent beach perfect However the home needs a major major update to include couches, patio furniture, and beds. A Also, the cleaning is filthy. The mattresses are stained and smell like pee. Bathroom is very outdated the AC filter vent is disgusting. Also there are alot of safety hazards with too many items plugged in the same area I actually got shocked. The stairs going up to the house and down to the beach or a hazard in themselves very disappointment and the house itself but the location and the beach was perfect.

Perfect little cottage for a family vacation. The house was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our vacation and will stay again.

My room did have a ocean view.

We enjoyed our stay. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the home. It was just what we needed but is in no way a luxury property. It is in a great location. On another note, the property to the south of the house is currently under construction, and while we were there a roll off dumpster was delivered to the house to the north which means they are getting ready to start working on that property as well. All that to say, there could be quite a bit of construction noise for the next couple months.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week over spring break. Great location right on the beach and close to things to do but far enough out that the beach wasn't crowded at all. We were able to bring our dog which was great. No, it's not a high end place with fancy finishes and tons of updates. It's an older house that is rented out and you get what comes along with that. If you want the Ritz, fork out more money for a newer place. If you have used lots of vrbo's before and understand what you are paying for this is a great place.

This Cozy Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Location is fantastic. It's in a quite residential area with a private beach, yet still close to restaurants. The bed was comfortable, bedding & towels soft. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely come back.

Loved it! Just had a small snafu when we arrived. But - it was immediately handled and followed up on. Had a great time.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Had trouble with the air conditioning. Followed the instructions, but the temperature went up to 79 degrees and only came down when the outdoor temperature went down. Had trouble with the entry code provided, but was resolved after a phone call.

Check in process did not go smooth. We could not get in w/ the original code we were given. Because their phone number is not in all their e-mails it took me awhile to find the phone number to call. Spoke w/ someone, was given a new code & got into the house; thus was about 20-30 minutes after check-in time. The kitchen had ants, we discovered the next morning all over our food on the counters. We couldn’t find the wi-fi password & I e-mailed to request it- we didn’t get it until 16 hours after I requested it which was frustrating since we needed it for work. The couches are comfy & nice but most of the furniture was a hodgepodge & didn’t match or flow w/ the beach theme that they were trying to go for. The beds weren’t bad, comfortable enough. The landscaping needed TLC; trees & shrubs were so overgrown over the driveway that it was difficult to find the driveway & bushes nearly scraped our SUV as we pulled into the driveway. The grass was also several inches tall & needed a cutting. The house fit our family of 4 just fine, & had a covered porch overlooking the beach which was the best part. The view & location was awesome. I would only recommend if the company makes it easier to contact them, have quicker responses, the ant problem is dealt with, & the driveway is cleared from trees & bushes.

We were only there for 2 nights. Short but awesome stay. Closest we've even been to the Ocean and oh so worth it. Views were amazing.

Was traveling home from farther South. My wife and myself wanted a couple days to unwind on our way back up north. The place was absolutely perfect for a relaxing few days at the beach.
