Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Beautiful clean hotel and about 15-20 minutes walk to acropolis/city centre. Alss, they have an awesome rooftop restaurant with view of Acropolis. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel. Great service from the moment we arrived. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Spacious room and very comfy bed plus a varied tasty breakfast. The only thing lacking was a mirror over the desk/dressing table to do hair and make-up. A visit to the rooftop bar to see the view, especially at sunset!

I had a great stay at the Hotel Athenaeum Eridanus Luvury. The staff was very friendly and the check in process was very fast. The room was clean and i had a small balcony. The view from the rooftop garden ist very nice and everything is reachable in walking distance. The gym was small but had enough for a quick gym session. I would definitly come again.

Stay here !!What a great recommendation we got to stay here. Our friend takes a lot of group tours and discovered this outstanding hotel. Staff and facilities were top notch. The rooftop restaurant was excellent and has the best Acropolis view as did our room and balcony.

Great location, easy. Incredibly rooftop restaurant/bar overlooking the Acropolis! Boutique-type of hotel - not huge like one would find in North America - but plenty of space in the rooms themselves. Very clean, incredibly kind and helpful staff who all speak tremendous English!

Great beds. Clean room. Really don’t understand why you would put a toilet in the shower!?!?! Stayed 3 nights and never had our coffee, coffee cups, wine glasses, water glasses replaced.

Very good breakfast. Staff very polite and friendly. Room very clean also quiet and a lovely view of the Parthenon. Only one thing let our stay down……… awful smell of sewage on occasions coming from the bathroom, would go back but never room 302.

Nous avons pris une chambre deluxe avec canapé et ce fut une chambre toute simple. Avec une petite fenêtre et vu sur le local à poubelle. Pour le nettoyage des chambres il faut le demander, sinon rien est fait. Arrivés tard le soir, nous avions eu l impression de déranger.

Cleaning staff did not have the tools to successfully do their job. Coffee cups weren’t cleaned or replaced, same with wine glasses and drinking glasses. No coffee or toilet paper was replenished. I asked for coffee and was charged 3 Euro to deliver when it should have been already there, I asked for ice and instead of being told I could get it upstairs they charged me 3 Euros to bring 1 cup of ice to my door. This was not a luxury hotel. Not impressed. Would not recommend.

Good location, easy to walk to main sites/areas Staff were excellent, always happy to assist. Breakfast was great, loads of options and all freshly prepared. Bedroom was a good size and bed comfortable but the A/C was not overly effective so could be a challenge in warmer months and the bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade

Great hotel. Clean, friendly, wonderful room. Would be delighted to return for longer stays. The junior suite had a “king style” bed with two twin beds side by side plus a separate living area with a large sofa/bed. Gray bathroom as well.

Dicey neighborhood, weird layout, toilet was IN the shower. No shelves in there to put shampoo etc on. Using the toilet after the shower was used got the bottom of my pants wet. VERY loud at night- there’s a nightclub next door that blasts music outside til after 2 am. Motorcycles and trucks are loud. Church bells were pretty but very loud and woke us at 7 am. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was 20 euro so we didn’t eat there. The rooftop restaurant food was ok, but the view was magnificent.

We stayed 3 nights in a junior suite that was modern, clean and spacious. We arrived early in the morning and the hotel kindly offered breakfast with no charge. The breakfast was quite good. Although the property is on a very busy road, there was no noise in the room. It was 10 min walk to some lovely restaurants.

This was the first hotel that my husband and I stayed at for our honeymoon. Don’t let the atmosphere stir you away from the hotel itself. The hotel is very nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had a cute little balcony that we would sit out on at night and enjoy some drinks. There was one odd thing about our room, the shower and bathroom are in the same area so when you shower the toilet gets pretty soaked, which is kind of inconvenient. It’s about a 10-20 minute walk to some really nice restaurants and shops. Overall good experience.

Didn’t arrive until nearly midnight but a friendly smile was there to greet us. Room is lovely. Big, clean and everything you could need, from a shoe horn!, to a free bottle of wine. Would come back for sure

Everything is perfect in the hotel, staff and facilities, but we cannot fail to mention how poorly acoustically insulated it is, especially in the rooms that face the main street (ours, with a view of the Acropolis)...they should invest in put better windows to isolate outside noise...Nothing to do with the pub on the corner and its karaoke until 3 AM

They treated us like royalty and beyond. For example, we wanted to watch the F1 race on TV, so the bellboy spent like 10 minutes reprogramming the tv so we could get the transmission. Breakfast was included, but opened at 7am, and we were leaving at 6am to catch a flight, so they went through the trouble of preparing a breakfast bag for everyone in our group to take with us when departing. We also dined at the rooftop restaurant, which had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Dinner was top notch, very generous portions, and delicious. Also very reasonably priced. From the hotel we were able to walk to the Placa area, which is beautiful. All in all, highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel , highly recommended. The hotel staff is amazing, so nice and helpful. Thanks George and the nice dark hair, glasses front desk lady we forgot her name lol Rooms are clean, lots of hot water, comfy bed. The food is excellent too and good price. The breakfast is great also. The rooftop is the best place to be !!! The renovation did not bother us at all, very respectful, this hotel will be even better soon they are done. We will definitely return .

Hotel itself was fine but in a poor location alongside run down shops and graffiti everywhere. I cannot say it was unsafe but it wasn’t the nicest part of town and a 13 min walk to the centre at night was not something I would like to do. I asked for. Quiet room and was given a room on main road side and next to two rooms being renovated! When I quested this said yes this was quiet!(???). Change to an ‘upgraded’ room that was smaller. Finally moved again to a room type I booked that was quieter. Bellhop support staff were great. Housekeeping not so much - out nine days had to call reception most days.

This hotel is is in a fabulous location for site seeing. It is a 10 minute walk to metro that takes you directly to the airport and 10 minute walk to the bottom of the hill where the acropolis entrance is located. Lots of restaurants in this area and flea market close by. Others have mentioned there is a lot of graffiti in the area and it appears a bit run down, however I disagree, graffiti is everywhere in Athens. There is a small mini market 5 mins left of hotel where you can get beer, wine, water or snacks. The view from my room, 501 was beyond spectacular. The acropolis looked amazing colours changing throughout the day and beautifully lit up at night. Sitting on my balcony with a glass of wine and just enjoying the view was the best experience. The staff were super polite and eager to help with any questions you might have. I’m not a big breakfast person so I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel and although there is coffee in the room, there is also a little snack bar just left of the hotel that makes a great Americano, open at 630am. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great hotel. Neighborhood looks sketchy but is pretty safe. The room was super clean, the food was amazing and the staff was the best! Very hospitable, courteous, friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about the staff. They were absolutely amazing!

The friendliest staff! Such good meals, we had dinner on the rooftop bar which was delicious and amazing view! We also had the breakfast buffet which was one of the best breakfasts we have had all trip! The room was clean and so nice! Shower was awesome too!

Nice hotel, relatively affordable and in a great area for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They make up for their affordable accommodation by having an extortionate breakfast and dinner menu. €20 everyday for breakfast is ridiculous and the dinner menu was also pricey. They also have a clothes cleaning service which is very expensive. However, staff are friendly and reception is 24/7 welcomed with a nice gift in the room when you arrive.

We really liked this place. We did ask for a junior suite and which had two windows but no view worth talking about out of either. Would definitely recommend getting a room with a view. The resort was convenient once we figured out how to get around. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was cold however. With all that being said we would go back.
