From the front desk (Kostas and Tasos) to the bar and kitchen (Sofia, Maria, Leah, Dimitris), the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly! They offered great recommendations for traveling within the city and restaurants! The hotel breakfast buffet is SO good! We can’t wait until our next visit! Efharistó para polí!

First, if you have a big group or family this might be a good option for the cost. The hotel lobby was nice, has a bar and staff is friendly. However we were given an apartment across the hotel which was spacious yet the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the mattress in both rooms were as hard as sleeping on the floor. There was so much noise and construction happening in the building we woke up by 6am, first unable to sleep due to the mattress and then the noise. The location wasn’t ideal for us, it was bit farther from the attractions and restaurants but getting a Uber was easy. There is no phone in the apartment so you’re unable to get in touch with reception if needed.

The property is well maintained with a comfy feel. Would’ve liked it if the lighting in the hallways to the rooms were brighter. Although the hotel is located on a busy 1-way street, its still safe to walk around with convient stores & restaurants on the same block or across the street.

The staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Close to the metro station (10 minute walk). Bed was comfortable and the room was nice. Weird lighting in the hallways, though. And in one room that we had, the shower had no walls or curtains whatsoever. The floor flooded when we showered. I have seen this very poor design before in another hotel in Paris. Makes no sense whatsoever. The other room that we had (we took a side trip to Santorini so checked in to the hotel twice during our trip to Greece) had a shower with a half wall. Better than no wall, but still sacrificed function for fashion. Aside from the shower, it was an excellent stay with awesome staff.

A nice stay with an interesting room. The decor was cute and unique. We had the PH suite and thought the cleanliness and maintenance of the room left something to be desired. The location was about an 8 minute walk to the metro. If you’re a tourist visiting Athens you may prefer something a bit closer to Monastiraki/Plaka. The staff were friendly and helpful but we found it pricey for what we got. Breakfast not included 13 euro per person.

The property is conveniently located although not in the safest of locations. Streets are extremely dark and desolate at night. No on-site parking. The accommodations were comfortable. Front desk staff not the most helpful. Wifi connectivity was absolutely horrible.

Overall this hotel was ok. Solid and decent. But I know, from having stayed in Athens in another hotel, in another area, the previous weekend there are better options out there. Ironically my previous hotel, which had better facilities and was better located, was also £50 per night cheaper! The area around the hotel was scruffy with lots of graffiti, although you could say that about a lot of Athens. The hotel said the area was safe, but it did feel sketchy walking back late at night. There was little life around it and limited dining options, although it was only about a10-15 min walk to the parliament, Syntgama Sq etc In contrast the previous week I had stayed in Psiri, which although also riddled with grafiti, had a lively bar and restaurant scene. Even late into the night there were lots of people milling around and I never once felt bothered there. The staff were pleasant and welcoming at the COlors Hotel and the rooms were clean. I didn't like the message, which you see in a lot of Athens, telling you not to put your toilet paper down the toilet but into the bin provided. The hotel I stayed at last week, also in Athens was more modern and didn't have this requirement. Finally the hotel lift is very old, has a manual door arrangement (you slide and open the doors) and can only fit in about 3 people in. Two is a squash if you have a suitcase each.

We had a great stay at Colors. We had no idea what to expect and everything was just perfect. The area is super cool and close to everything. Our room was clean and very quiet. It was great to sit out front on the patio and have a drink at the end of the day. The staff was really nice. Loved it!

A boutique hotel very conveniently located to see the major parts of downtown Athens. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and well furnished. If you're looking for a nice place in a good location that's NOT your standard chain hotel, Colors is a great option.

It was an OK stay. The staff were very nice but we stayed 4 nights and they only appeared to Clean the apartment 1 time, and that was in late afternoon when we were there relaxing so they could not come in. I asked twice to please send cleaners and they never arrived. So that was disappointing. If I wanted to clean myself I wouldn’t have stayed at a ‘hotel’ but this was more of an apartment across the street from a hotel. Which also wasn’t clear when I made booking on Expedia.

The apartment at Colors Athens was fantastic. We had a perfect time there. The hotel is slightly away from the main sights but ultimately only a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away. The staff at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, super clean and perfect for a family. Honestly a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

This is our third stay at Colors - you could say we're fans! We were offered an upgrade this time around and stayed in their new flats across the street from the main hotel. These are spacious with full kitchen amenities, a large, comfy sitting room and a well-appointed bathroom. There were two double bedrooms and a small play area for children. This was a very luxurious experience, albeit a different one from staying in the main hotel, where the trendy decor and vibe make it very clear you're on holiday, rather than at your home away from home.

Location is not bad, 10-15 minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly. The apartment is small, clean but the elevator is super tiny only for 2-3 people at a time. Carry luggage’s up/down the stair was not fun. Absolutely no wifi.

We loved our stay at Colors Athens. We would highly recommend this hotel. We were welcomed by Kosta who made us fresh lemonade pretty late at night which I thought was so nice. My girls haven’t stopped talking about that lemonade since! Our room was comfortable and clean. The bunk beds were a hit with our kids. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is in an area within walking distance of most places. We will definitely be back.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed it. The place was clean and perfect for the short stop. The sliding glass doors to the patio didn’t lock so that was a little disconcerting but we were on the fourth floor. The restaurant across the street was fabulous.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Colors hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms great for families. They have an amazing breakfast buffet selection. Andreas, Dimitri and their female colleague (Maria?) were excellent and very welcoming at breakfast! Excellent coffee! Great experience- thank you!

COLORS is a bit of a home away from home, a lovely boutique hotel just outside the centre of Athens that takes good care of its guests. We came for our honeymoon and they were quick to offer a few little perks to make our stay more comfortable, and swapped rooms for us when we asked for a different set up.

I cannot thank the entire staff for their excellent service, friendly environment and great accommodations. This is our second time in Athens and we didn’t look twice, we reserved the entire stay at Colors Hotel. We kept our luggage in their storage until we returned from the islands after ten days. We truly enjoyed our stay! They are always available to help, give recommendations to the best restaurants, places to visit, they assist with reliable and safe taxi reservations! The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Front desk supervisors, especially Angelina was really remarkably good. All the staff was helpful and welcoming. The condition of the room was good and the breakfast was enough.

The staff was super nice and accommodating. Check in wasn't until 3 pm but our rooms were ready when we arrived at 1:30 which was nice after flyingfor 14 hours. They arranged our transport from the airport and to the cruise port. The taxi drivers were very nice also. I will absolutely stay there again next time I visit Athens.

Two BIG highlights. First, very walkable to the sights and restaurants. Not far away. We walked everywhere and felt fine doing so. Big win. Second, the staff really know what hospitality is. All the ladies working at the Front Desk were amazing. There were three that I remembered very well. One with dark hair seemed like a supervisor was especially kind also a blonde lady very small in stature impressed us so much how she took our heavy luggage to the room. I wish I remembered names but we were impressed by all desk agents. Also the gentleman working the breakfast was a scholar and a gentleman. Loved his service and barista skills. This hotel was lovely. Only recommendation is to stack more towels in the room. Otherwise it was perfect.

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at Colors Hotel. It is relatively close to Syntagma Square by foot. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Super helpful and pleasant to interact with. Our room was clean, beds comfortable. The shower was great.

I’m sure it was safe but felt very sketchy part of Athens. There is a great area to eat and hang out about 15 min walk away but the walk is a bit scary at night. The hotel itself was very nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. The hotel is great, the area is not my fave in Athens.

First trip to Athens and this was great for getting around the city. Short walk to underground line. Yes the area is covered in graffiti but so is most of Athens (not unique to this area). Felt very safe walking at night with children. Lots of food options in area, all reasonably priced. Staff at hotel very friendly and more than happy to help. Room was quirky (in a good way) and good as a base to explore city. Breakfast was delicious, I have rarely had such a good breakfast in a hotel around this price point. Hot and cold options all fresh throughout service. Highly recommended for first time visitors to Athens

This area was far more sketchy than the other hotel we stayed in Athens as two women traveling alone. Graffiti on every building and just an unsettling feeling outside the hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful and provided additional bedding so we could use the day bed in the other part of the room.

Wifi is not good, continuously seriously disconnected. The area is ok, but the distance to the metro or bus stop is not so short, 10 minutes. The hotel looks new and clean but the quality of towels is not for 4star hotel. Breakfast is not special just ok. I paid 350euros for two nights and I think it is overpriced.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Colors hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms great for families. They have an amazing breakfast buffet selection. Andreas, Dimitri and their female colleague (Maria?) were excellent and very welcoming at breakfast! Excellent coffee! Great experience- thank you!

Beautiful accommodation, staff are super helpful The buffet breakfast was awesome lots of variety of food, The room was spacious enough for us and two kids. Easy walk to main shopping and dining area of town. Stephen at the reception was amazing he helped us so much he is a champion. I thank him for making us breakfast in the boxes at 5AM in the morning :-)

Hotel front desk/staff was very polite and informative about Athens. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable, probably the best thing about our room was the shower. Nothing beats having a long day and coming back to a nice soothing/hot shower. There was a large variety of food for breakfast. We were less than 10 mins walking distance from the hop on/off buses

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was small but enough space for the 2 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Location wise is fine - it’s about a 15-20 min walk to the main tourist areas. The area surrounding the hotel looks a bit rough around the edges but that didn’t impact our time. Staff were great and helpful!

The staff were very nice and helpful but location/neighborhood was not great. I thought the description stated that an airport shuttle was included. While the hotel kindly arranged a shuttle, we had to pay cash for the transport. Also, it was not as close as I was hoping to the sites. It was at least a 20 min walk to the acropolis and museums.
