SureStay by Best Western Grayson

This is a clean, comfortable and economic hotel. No hot tubs in any hotel in this area. So the whirlpool tub in the room is awesome! 20 bucks more for your own private hotub is a plus in my book! Breakfast was good too.

Very nice hotel. Super friendly staff. Wonderful indoor pool. Nice selection of fast food and restaurants nearby.

Front desk staff was SUPER friendly!! Outside door facing the highway does not lock.

The hotel was close to the highway, but quiet. We went to get into the pool and discovered that the heater was not working. When we told the woman at the front desk, she was surprised and offered to upgrade us to a room with a jacuzzi and said that it would be fixed asap. We returned a week later, and the pool was fixed. The entire staff at SureStay was very pleasant and helpful.

Only reason We went was indoor pool and it was closed for repair.

The hotel was decent. The pool was closed which the website didn’t say and it has been closed for quit some time, and my kids were upset! We stopped early for them to swim and didn’t! The bathroom door was broke and didn’t shut. The breakfast was a grab and go and cold stuff, which it said full breakfast. They had all the hot trays plus waffle stuff to have a hot breakfast, but none were available. The pictures aren’t what the room looks like exactly, and no elevator to 2nd floor!

Had to switch rooms,concern about bed bugs, pool being renovated ,no access ,ice machine out of order,juice machine out of order.

We were not impressed and will not teturn to this property. The pool was closed,this is understandable because things happen but it was not conveyed before check-in. We would have booked elsewhere if we had known. The pool was the sole reason we chose this property. Plus at check-in I was charged for the room even though it was pre-paid. That was a hassle to fix but eventually i was refunded. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very kind and friendly. I didn't like that the exterior door (not the one by the front desk) was left unlocked. Anyone could enter without a key card.

Great staff. Good breakfast and stay. No elevator so we had to go up and down stairs. Drink machine inoperative.

It was nice until we came back the second day and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. My suitcase still smells like cigarettes

Sign by check in says no pets allowed. A family came walking in from outside in their swimwear with 2 dogs. Went straight to their room. The chair in our room was stained black over most of chair. Our friends toilet bowel had not been cleaned after someone had a bowel movement. Out of eggs , over cooked sausage. The biscuits and milk gravy were good. Won’t stay at sure stay again

The room was absolutely dirty this time and there was hair all over the bathroom and in the tub.

Biggest complaint I had was the hallway smelled big time of weed and it would come into our room. I have to assume it was a person staying there. Hallway smelled so bad. But breakfast was good. Room was clean.

Everything was just ok. The whole place is very musty smelling and everything had a “wet” feel. They need some dehumidifiers. The linens were clean. Breakfast was decent for a hotel. Our toilet ran on and off the whole time, it was particularly loud in the night. Also, the doors stick everywhere so lots of door noise. It was the best option in the area, but I wouldn’t stay again given a choice

Clean and new feeling. Nice towels, comfortable bed. Staff is friendly

People were friendly . But upon entering our room there was dirty underwear on the floor in the bathroom and hair all in the tub

We had to come to Grayson for a funeral. The inn had the best reviews so thats why i decided on chosing to stay there. First they dont have an elevator which wasnt a problem for me but i was traveling with my mom and aunt. For older people this can be difficult. The room had food crumbs and soda lids on the floor. Then in the middle of the night i woke up to my hand itching. Went back to sleep. Woke up in the morning to being covered in bites. Pulled the covers back... Bedbugs. All in the sheets and pillows. It was disgusting. We still had to get ready for the funeral. We tried to shake our clothes and hurry and get out of there. I told the front desk. I even showed her the video i took of the bugs on the bed. Since i booked through expedia she said i would have to go through them for a refund but "sorry" So we still went to the funeral, the burial, the dinner and the 5 hour drive home. My clothes are now sitting outside. Im paranoid i brought bugs home with me. I feel horrible that i took my mom and aunt to a hotel that had bugs at the time they had to bury their brother. I know these things happen but i cant believe they didnt know they had them. It wasnt just one or two. There were several that were visible. I did contact expedia. They looked up the itinerary. It showed that the room was paid for directly through the hotel. So the hotel lied to me about that. But thankfully expedia did have them issue a refund.

Floor had not been vacuumed in our room and the water pressure in the shower was pathetic. Hard to even get your hair wet. BUT it was the mid comfortable bed we've ever been in.

Sheets were stained bad. Towels were damp, floors felt wet. Bathtub dripped non stop

It’s your typical hotel room, but it was clean, although the couch bed was missing linens and pillows it was still a comfortable stay. The rooms are very large, which added to the comfort. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. Over all nice place would stay again.

The price was great the room was clean..but the phone did not work nor did the microwave..the toilet was clogged..just needs maintained but the price was what brought me here..

Very nice rooms. Tried to check-in before check-in time and was told it would cost an extra $20.00 for early check-in. I didn't see anything about not having an elevator. My husband and I had a hard time getting up and down the steps. The internet went out and we had no Tv one night.

Good stay for a one night - comfortable and clean! Oh, and inexpensive!

First night was terrible as the noise from something kept us awake nearly all night. Found out it was probably from some trucks at the restaurant next door. We only got two hours of rest. We requested a different room for the second night and they moved us across the hall. That room was great and we slept very well. Staff were all very nice .

Our room was ok, it could definitely use some updating but was clean,had a faint smell of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. We had an issue with our tv and an associate went out of her way to correct it as fast as possible. We would stay there again

I always like to stay at Best Westerns because they usually have decent pillows. Your pillows we the fat foam kind that kill the neck of a side sleeper and are usually found in Choice hotels, not Best Western. Also, didn't check, so blame myself, but stuck a salad in the refrigerator and lost it because the refrigerator wasn't on. Otherwise, room and stay were great. Front desk was unusually attentive. Breakfast was nice.

Staff was super helpful and quick to help. There was a small issue with room (not a huge deal). The attendant quickly switched me to a different room without delay. Every time I left or returned thru the lobby I was greeted with a friendly smile. The breakfast room was well stocked and had lots of hot and cold options. The space was clean. As a female solo traveler safety is always a concern. I felt very safe in the whole space. I saw cameras in all the common areas and there was always one or two people either at the desk or outside the main door. The parking lot was well lit with no darker areas or overgrown bushes. I was one the 1st floor so when I looked out the window I noticed the shrubs were well maintained and small. Overall I was very happy with how safe I felt.

After calling ahead to double check reservations and late check in . Hotels.com never made the reservations lied about sent me all the right emails to verify. And like little baby Jesus birthday no room in the INN . Front desk man wasn’t helpful and didn’t know anything I was told at 3 am they take back your room.

The check in should have been quick and simple , especially considering I had already been charged. I booked through Orbitz but apparently the connection between the 2 has some bugs to work out

A spur of the moment trip I needed a nice place to stay. This is my answer. The staff went above and beyond to help me when I went to take a shower and found that the room I originally was in did not have any water pressure they did not hesitate to put me in another room and make sure I was well taken care of. Will definitely stay again only thing I wish they had was an elevator.

The lady who checked me in (early) was very efficient and helpful. She and other personnel offered to help me repeatedly. They are great people.

The room did not have bath towels in it. We had to ask. When we went for free breakfast, served from 6-10, there was nothing left at 8 am and no one around to refill the trays. They checked me out after 1 day of a two day stay. Had to have this corrected. Then we were incorrectly charged for the room. After receiving new towels, we used 1 of the 4 and they actually took the 3rd ! They came in and cleaned our room when we clearly hung the Privscy Tag on the door Will never stay there again. And last but not least there is no lock on the back entrance.

It was convenient just off the highway with nearby redtaurants. Hotel was very clean, had a nice breakfast, and staff were very accomodating and friendly.

I like that even though the hotel was off the freeway the traffic amazingly enough wasn't disturbing at all. It was close enough to everything you could possibly need or want. And we were literally eight minutes from where we needed to be everyday

It was close to nearby restaurants and other shopping.

We were traveling from the east coast to Midwest and needed a place to rest for the night. This hotel was absolutely perfect. Comfortable beds, nice TVs, great pool and an outstanding breakfast that included omelets. The price was incredible and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Lots of restaurants near by and a dollar general across the street.

Everything was excellent. Room was very clean. Beds were nice and firm. Ambiant light wasn't that bad, so you could sleep. My only complaint was the hot breakfast consisted only of biscuits & gravy plus sausage. Some scrambled eggs would have been nice. Otherwise everything was great at a great price.

Older facility. No elevator. Kinda worn out furnishings. Breakfast is very basic. Staff was fine. Check-in was meh.

I recommend calling ahead. Apparently the 3rd party site overbooked so we did not get the room we booked. Told some reservations had to be canceled so we were lucky we had a room but it would have been nice to get a call in advance not find out using our key card. We were attending a music festival so we slept in and missed breakfast everyday except check out dat. Juice machine was broke, no selection of pastries and 2 out of 3 hot foods were gone and not replaced. Staff was nice but improvements could make it better.

Extra $20 to check in 30 min early, floor in room dirty, Went to breakfast at 8:00 am and nearly everything empty. What was there was cold & stale. Will not recommend to anyone nor will I stay there again.

The room was clean and the people were nice. The continental breakfast was out of a lot things. The breakfast is not a deal killer but I will shop around for the next visit. Thanks!
