What guests think

At Hotel Kali, guests frequently praise the very clean rooms, friendly attentive staff, and walkable, central location near the plaza, while noting trade-offs like off-site parking, thin walls, interior-facing rooms without AC, and basic TVs.

Many appreciate the complimentary lobby coffee and tea with cookies or pastries, though there is no on-site restaurant or room service. Reviewers also mention good value for money, alongside occasional issues such as delayed reservation confirmation or slow-to-arrive hot water. Expect a simple, comfortable boutique-style stay with solid value.

Comfortable beds. Free coffee, tea and cookies available at entrance. Comfortable sitting area at entrance. Within walking distance of many restaurants and beautiful church. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not air conditioned. The window in our room faced the interior which enabled air movement brought in through the open entrance to the street. I loved the quaint appearance of the interior of the hotel.

I liked the modern design of the room and the common areas. I did not like the lack of a chair on which to sit in the room. I did not like the thin polyester(?) towels. It takes many minutes for hot water in the shower - as a result a lot of clean water goes down the drain. There is no dedicated parking. One day we had to park on the street in the next block.
