Stayed 2 nights

We stayed there for 2 nights. We arrived on Saturday at 8pm and there was no one at reception. We did not manage to call the number on the door and finally someone from a nearby shop helped us showing us to our room. The entrance looks wierd as it is not thourgh the hotel lobby, rather through a side entry on the building. There was no one working in the hotel at that time. Although the room was nice and it is in a walking distance to all main attractions, we were disappointed that the toilet seat was broken and had been "fixed" with a tape which did not look hygienic at all. And when we turned on the air con, a black dust came out dirtying the bed below it. I dont think this issues match the grade that this hotel has on booking.

Terrible check in but room was good. The Hotel main entrance was locked with no signage, but a vendor accross the road told us there is a side door and we should go inside the side door and go up to the 2nd floor for the reception area, which we did. We found the reception area has a key pad for entry which was locked and no one was at the reception desk to let us in. I didn't get any texts or emails from the hotel as of 10am on check in day. I eventually borrowed a phone and had to contact Expedia for help. After 1 hour on the phone with Expedia, I received a keypad code and was able to enter the unstaffed reception desk and found a room key on the counter. The hotel needs to send out check in instructions more than a hour before arrival time. So check in was like an air B and B, but I did not expect that. The room was clean and looked like the pictures on Expedia. The street outside was under construction and several of our tour companies would not come down the street to pick us up so we had to walk to meeting places for a pick up. Breakfast was OK and breakfast staff were good. The location is close to some attractions. All in all, I would not stay here again.

Room was nice and clean, breakfast was nice. They let you choose if you want Albanian or sweet option. Very lovely staff. It's in amazing location although bells from church nearby do get quite loud early in the morning so light sleepers it might bother. Also they're just doing some road works which can start as early as 7:30am. Getting to the hotel after reception closes is very confusing. I wish they gave us little clearer instructions.
