This was our second time here and it was just as relaxing as the first time. We always bring our dog and they always have a pet friendly room. It’s an 8 minute walk to the beach. And walkable to local shops, ice cream, and food. The pool is also relaxing with plenty of sun. The rooms are comfortable, small fridge and microwave available and Hot hot showers.

The Anchor Inn is a great place to book for a weekend at Oak Island, NC!!! The staff are helpful and provide great customer service. The hotel room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is also great! The Anchor Inn is in walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. Our experience here was a 10/10!

We decided last minute to do a weekend beach trip and anchor inn was by far the best value for the location, comfort and parking! Room was clean and quiet and the remote check in/out was a breeze

Clean and simple. Rooms had wooden floors which is good at the beach, Beds were clean and comfortable. There is a small fridge/freezer that worked well, microwave and small coffee maker. Plenty of towels that were thick and fluffy. TV with streaming platforms. No room key needed - uses key code sent to your phone at check-in. Would be nice to have some hooks on the wall for hanging beach stuff, and would be nice to have an ice machine on premises. Otherwise great! Bit of a walk to the beach - about 4 blocks, would be good to have a wagon to carry your things. Pet friendly too. Would stay here again.
