Guests often highlight very clean, comfortable rooms with cozy decor and quiet nights. Common areas, fireplaces, and well stocked beverage and snack stations add convenience and charm. A few isolated critiques mention outdoor upkeep or a wobbly headboard, and one guest disliked the B&B format. Expect a warmly hosted, food-forward B&B stay.

Tom & Maureen are excellent hosts and we left wanting to stay longer at this B&B. The house is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities including a variety of snacks, sangria, a coffee machine, and board games, to name a few. We were only able to enjoy the breakfast on our last morning there, but the food was amazing, fresh, and clearly made with love. I can't recommend this place enough and I hope to be able to stay here again sometime in the near future.

Charming cozy home full of antique furniture and related decor. Comfortable sofas for reading and relaxing. We were greeted by Tom who gave us a tour of the home stocked with every thing a traveler would need (24/7 drinks and snacks, etc). Chocolate banana scones! Full breakfast in the am. If you are looking for something different than a modern hotel room consider this,

Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!

Had a lovely stay at Maurrocks B&B. The hosts have thought of everything we could have needed for our stay, and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with homemade scones and other pastries, a variety of delicious coffees and teas, and a well stocked fridge for consumption. The candy dishes all over the house were a tempting indulgence, and they were honestly the best scones we have ever had! My only negative reviews are that the snow was not cleared fully on the front, walk and steps, making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. Also, the bed in our room was not attached to the rickety headboard, and it did not seem sturdy at all. Other than that, the hosts were very lovely, and we enjoyed meeting their dogs!

There was nothing unique in this property. This is not what I signed up for. I really thought I was getting a room in a hotel with breakfast. It’s a private house renting rooms. There was dead rats in the courtyard next to the stairway. Dogs barking on the premises in the night. I booked for a Queen sized bed but that was more like a full size bed. The owner told me that the room which I booked was under renovation and he put us in an alternative room. I stayed the night and left early next morning. I told him I didn’t like the accommodation and that’s not what I booked for. I requesting my money for 2 nights back.

We stayed with Maureen and Tom for two nights last week to do some hiking in the area. Their B&B is very comfortable. Maureen and Tom are both helpful and gracious hosts. They are both EXCELLENT cooks! Their breakfast was off the charts!! Their dogs are well behaved and friendly. Absolutely no issues with having them around. We enjoyed petting them and getting to know them. We'll be back! Thank you Maureen & Tom.

Tom and Maureen were excellent hosts; warm, personable and engaging. Our room and accommodations were quite nice. Tom's gourmet, multi course breakfast was outstanding and there was no shortage of snack and nourishment options. Lastly, the friendly visits of their 3 mannered rescue dogs, each with distinct personalities, was an added bonus.

We quite randomly stumbled on Tom & Maureen’s B&B whilst transiting between Niagara Falls and NYC - and well did we get lucky here. The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Oh yes, and the 3 beautiful rescue dogs that came to say hello and make us welcome too! I can’t recommend this place and the hosts highly enough!

Tom and Maureen are salt of the earth. The most gracious hosts that treat you like family. Clean and cozy quarters with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts were prepared to perfection. Between Tom’s cooking skills and Maureen’s baking, you are in for a treat. Their “co-host” dogs are all well behaved and very gentle. Highly recommended this B&B. Thank you Tom and Maureen- we’ll be back!

We were greeted warmly by the owner. He offered information about the area, catered to our interests. We enjoyed a glass of wine over an outdoor firepit, and then returned inside to another indoor fire on a cool fall evening. They showed us around our room and told us about the area. Offered restaurant and attractions in the area. We will 💯 return if the occasion presents itself.

Just a perfect home, perfect hosts, amazing gourmet breakfast, tons of additional amenities and treats, very quiet, easy access to just about anywhere. This is my go to home away from home, just love it there.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my daughter and I arrived, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality that you'd only expect from a long-lost friend. The hosts, Maureen and Tom, were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The B&B itself is a beautiful, cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Our room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered all the amenities we could possibly need. But what truly sets Maurrocks apart is the culinary experience. The breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious, gourmet multi course meal prepared with fresh ingredients. The dishes were not only a feast for the eyes but also a delight to the palate, showcasing a variety of flavors that left us eagerly anticipating the next meal. Maureen and Tom's expertise in hospitality shines through in every detail of the B&B. They are not only excellent hosts but also wonderful people who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, our visit to Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B was an absolutely wonderful experience. It's a plac

We felt very welcome at this lovely bed & breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee variety is out of this world. A lot of little thoughtful details in the room and the common room. Overall wonderful experience; will definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying. Great place to relax. Breakfast is always fresh and fulfilling. The coffee Station was one of the best, much better than some higher-end places I have stayed at.

The couple promised to call me back to resolve the issue but I have not heard from them yet. Very disappointing because they seem to be decent people at first.
