What guests think

At Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Loveland, travelers consistently praise very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, helpful staff, along with a convenient location near I-25, restaurants, and event venues, making it a reliable budget-friendly stop.

Recurring downsides include a very limited breakfast that often runs out, intermittent housekeeping during longer stays, and maintenance quirks like flickering lights, noisy or faulty HVAC, shower leaks, and occasionally slow or glitchy check-in systems. Noise can be an issue due to thin walls or interstate-facing rooms, though many guests still report quiet nights. Overall, expect a clean, simple stay with strong staff service but modest amenities.

I thought the breakfast buffet was pretty good. I wish the fitness area had free weights. The room was comfortable and large enough but needed a light at the desk to facilitate working. The thermostat didn't work but an employee was able to shift control to the heating/cooling unit at the window.

The property was newer, and look to be in good shape, the elevator was slow. The free breakfast was limited. The smoke detectors had a light that flashed every 30 seconds, that I toll the front desk about but after talking with the maintenance man he told me that it was standard and could not be turned off. I travel with a roll of tape so I put a small piece of tape over the flashing light.

Fire alarms went off, not once but twice, and no staff to be found to ask about it. Knew it wasn’t real because no one was leaving. No one around during check out and almost nothing in terms of breakfast. I rarely give less than good reviews, but we could have stayed somewhere comparable and probably at least have been able to find someone to talk to

What i liked about my stay at this property, is everthing, from the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness that the staff bring daily to their jobs, to how they greet you with smiles and are eager to assist with any inquiries you may have about your stay. I was equally happy that my room was very clean when i arrived and everything in the room works perfectly. The gym consists of a treadmill, stepper and cycle which suits my workout routine, conveniently located on the first floor. Each morning the coffee is made fresh, while the food on the breakfast menu is just perfect for the vacationing or overnight visitor to Loveland. Thank you Lisa and staff for a very nice, welcoming, and enjoyable stay.

Stayed 4 days and loved it, the only thing I got concern was the outside parking lot lights would be off most of the time and it was really dark outside, but everything else was a 10!

But .... it was not an enjoyable stay in the room with dirty spots on the mirrors and a dirty shower floor that had a bad smell.

The walls were paper thin. You could hear normal conversations in the room next door. When walking down the hall, you could everything that was going on in the rooms. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower had no place to set a bar of soap. The choice was the floor of the shower or the back of the toilet. The shower curtain was two inches too short which led to a flooded bathroom floor.

At checkin, the computer system kept going down, they tried many times to reboot it and finally the transaction went through. Not the clerk’s fault at all. Microtel needs to fix their system. 5 guests could not get checked in and we all had someplace we needed to be. We won’t be staying here next time.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever had. Breakfast was small, but nice. The hotel is very close to Starbucks, gas station, dining options, and directly off the interstate. We witnessed multiple staff members going above and beyond to support an elderly couple who were displaced due to wild fires. Lots of listening and compassion. I would definitely stay here again.

This Property charged me for the room through Expedia (pre-paid), then also charged my credit card three more times for the room. I ended up paying nearly $500 for a very subpar room that was supposed to be $100. I have tried to contact the hotel on multiple occasions since my stay and am unable to reach the hotel by phone. They do nothing t answer their phone. Horrible service all the way around with illegal charges they were not authorized. Do not stay here, they suck!!

Snapshot - they took payment twice and are refusing to refund the duplicate payment Details - Turned up and they could not find our booking, despite me having confirmation. I had to book and pay for another room on arrival, after just landing in the country. I then check my credit card after my holiday, and see they have taken payment twice. Despite numerous messages, they are refusing to give me back the duplicate charges for some reason saying they do not refund cancellations. I did not cancel, I arrived on the day of my booking and and they could not find it. They don't understand this error, and keep saying they cannot refund cancellations as per their policy. I am still battling for my refund of the duplicate charge, but I warn anyone about staying in this hotel.

We got to the hotel just after midnight. The night staff didn’t seem to know how to find our reservation as it was “the next day”. So he put us in a different room charging us for it even though our Expedia booking was already paid for. We got charged for 2 rooms. I didn’t know that had happened until I checked my MasterCard statement and found the extra charges.

The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, if your looking to eat breakfast before continuing your journey, allow time to eat in a restaurant. There were biscuits, but no gravy. Coffee wasn't ready for breakfast service. No cream cheese and the hard boiled eggs were over cooked and still in their shells. The person in charge of the breakfast room was also the front desk clerk. Felt the operation was running on a very tight shoestring for the hotel's benefit. Not for the comfort of the clientele. Will not use this hotel again.
