Quiet and clean space but u will hear the cars going by. U must have cash to use the vending machines. Or there's a 7 eleven not so far away. Nice price. Small deposit needed. Free muffins and coffee served in the morning. Not a full free breakfast offered like the a Hampton hotel. Satisfied.

Facility was in disarray. Trash bags lying out, fixing an air conditioning unit on the balcony and dripping water below. "Breakfast" was an inch of old coffee and a few packages of highly processed convenience foods. Powdered coffee lightener. Rooms were reasonably clean except for the corners in the bathroom.

This is a pretty straight forward review. I was going to be in DC from Philadelphia and needed a one-night hotel for me, my partner and kid. This place fit the bill well. Everything is SUPER basic and the price reflects that. The room could have been cleaner and would have benefited from some dusting and paint. Pros: 1) The price was right for a short-term stay close to the city and the highway. 2) Easy check in, no fuss. 3) Was able to use credit card to get a bunch of points from the purchase. 4) Hot water worked really well Cons: 1) The breakfast is granola bars and cheap muffins but it's to be expected. 2) Random furniture and things in the hallway areas. Overall: I would stay here again, especially if I only really need the room to sleep and shower. Pro tip: Ask for a second room floor on the back side of the road so there is less traffic noise.

It looked like they were in the process of upgrading the flooring and, indeed, our floors were laminate rather than carpet - a plus in high humidity areas such as Laurel. The room was clean but the amenities were old - the microwave clanked and banged, the fridge froze your food no matter where you set it, and the video quality on the few available cable channels looked to be 480i despite being fed to a small LCD screen. For the price, I really didn't expect more, and it could've been far worse. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by trees.

The room smelled horrible. The bathtub had mold. The headboard had fingerprints and handprints. Could not wait to leave. Found an excellent room at Days inn for less money and very clean. Will stay there for the next 5 nights

Staff at desk were nice, but the hotel and room itself left much to be desired. There was a random pair of shoes outside our door that threw us off and man that consistently lurked near our room but we were just looking for a clean room to sleep in after a show at the casino so we shook it off. At first glance it was fine. Room was definitely worn and in need of some touch-ups but would be comfy and suitable for it's intended purpose. Until my wife came out of the bathroom to find a bug crawling on her pillow that looked suspiciously like a bedbug. That was it. We took no chances on finding more; we immediately shook everything out and left after telling the desk and getting a card for the manager. We hadn't even climbed all the way into bed yet. After reading positive reviews that lead me to book, we are very disheartened. We were on a rare date night out that was cut short. Disappointing.

If you’re looking only to lay your head down and sleep. Then you should be ok. The hotel sits on a busy street and the walls /crack under the door makes you feel your sitting in the middle of the road at times. It’s tolerable but I had to tune the car noise out to get to sleep with the tv on. A better choice was several hundred dollars more on our visit to Columbia during or trip. I don’t think I’ll return here again to stay in laurel. We did witness a crash in front of the car wash across the street from us. Some trees along the road between the hotel would help with noise. That’s the big problem. The room was what is the norm or expected on older road motels

It was a nice room, clean and neat. We came in later than we expected and the staff was quick and efficient so we could get settled in quickly. The only down side was that breakfast consisted of mini muffins, granola bars and coffee in the office.

It lists that there's breakfast (which is one of the things I specifically filtered for in my search), but all they had was a single mini muffin, one of those skinny nutri bars, and coffee. I don't even drink coffee, but there was nothing else. I wasn't expecting a world class meal, but atleast something resembling "breakfast". Had it not said there's breakfast, but had it there for customers, I would've been inclined to even say it was a decent spot, but that "breakfast" absolutely annoyed every fibre of my being. If that's something you're looking for in your search, avoid this place. Outside of that, I had no issue with the people I interacted with. Being more pleasant wouldn't be a bad idea though. Being on the less expensive side is no excuse for lack of pleasantries.

It's actually an alright spot if you aren't looking to be impressed by anything other than being cheap, allowing dogs (with a deposit and a small fee), and being in a good location. I doesn't seem like the best part of town, but it's right by the highway, the grocery store, and several restaurants. However, the place needs a little maintenance and a little more soap here and there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I give 3 stars is because it had a little dirt and ancient caulk

This is a pretty straight forward review. I was going to be in DC from Philadelphia and needed a one-night hotel for me, my partner and kid. This place fit the bill well. Everything is SUPER basic and the price reflects that. The room could have been cleaner and would have benefited from some dusting and paint. Pros: 1) The price was right for a short-term stay close to the city and the highway. 2) Easy check in, no fuss. 3) Was able to use credit card to get a bunch of points from the purchase. 4) Hot water worked really well Cons: 1) The breakfast is granola bars and cheap muffins but it's to be expected. 2) Random furniture and things in the hallway areas. Overall: I would stay here again, especially if I only really need the room to sleep and shower. Pro tip: Ask for a second room floor on the back side of the road so there is less traffic noise.

If you’re looking only to lay your head down and sleep. Then you should be ok. The hotel sits on a busy street and the walls /crack under the door makes you feel your sitting in the middle of the road at times. It’s tolerable but I had to tune the car noise out to get to sleep with the tv on. A better choice was several hundred dollars more on our visit to Columbia during or trip. I don’t think I’ll return here again to stay in laurel. We did witness a crash in front of the car wash across the street from us. Some trees along the road between the hotel would help with noise. That’s the big problem. The room was what is the norm or expected on older road motels

This is a low budget motel and probably the last in Laurel that offers smoking rooms. It looked like they were in the process of upgrading the flooring and, indeed, our floors were laminate rather than carpet - a plus in high humidity areas such as Laurel. The room was clean but the amenities were old - the microwave clanked and banged, the fridge froze your food no matter where you set it, and the video quality on the few available cable channels looked to be 480i despite being fed to a small LCD screen. For the price, I really didn't expect more, and it could've been far worse. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by trees.

It was a nice room, clean and neat. We came in later than we expected and the staff was quick and efficient so we could get settled in quickly. The only down side was that breakfast consisted of mini muffins, granola bars and coffee in the office.

Facility was in disarray. Trash bags lying out, fixing an air conditioning unit on the balcony and dripping water below. "Breakfast" was an inch of old coffee and a few packages of highly processed convenience foods. Powdered coffee lightener. Rooms were reasonably clean except for the corners in the bathroom.

It lists that there's breakfast (which is one of the things I specifically filtered for in my search), but all they had was a single mini muffin, one of those skinny nutri bars, and coffee. I don't even drink coffee, but there was nothing else. I wasn't expecting a world class meal, but atleast something resembling "breakfast". Had it not said there's breakfast, but had it there for customers, I would've been inclined to even say it was a decent spot, but that "breakfast" absolutely annoyed every fibre of my being. If that's something you're looking for in your search, avoid this place. Outside of that, I had no issue with the people I interacted with. Being more pleasant wouldn't be a bad idea though. Being on the less expensive side is no excuse for lack of pleasantries.

The linens were not washed properly, and there were no duvets provided. The water pressure was terrible, making it impossible to take a proper shower. The toiletries were of poor quality. Despite the package including breakfast, only a muffin and coffee were provided at the front desk, which was disappointing. Additionally, I was appalled to find human hair on the linens, which was unacceptable. I will definitely NOT go there again!
